"I have so much respect for author who create the depth and range of characters like these. All in a setting that is simultaneously familiar and fantastical. It’s a great writing effort when readers see the movie version in their heads as the words filter in. At least for me, I swear I could smell the gardens at one point. I treasured this as it doesn’t happen as often of late as I’d like. I look forward to the grand finale when it comes, as Kazia isn’t done with her story, yet!"
Fiery and Exciting
"I loved every bit of this story, mostly the fantastic environment that the characters are part of. I never read a steampunk novel before but I am glad that I am reading this for I really enjoyed reading about different machines, alchemists and their doings. And maybe the best part was the realitonship between Kazia and Kelveran. So far, I am imagining that their story will build up even more and bring them closer and closer."
