Interesting Start

"Interesting start. The blurb at the beginning suggests this is a crime novel, following the story of the lead detective. In these first two chapters, however, we have not gotten to the crime solving portion of it yet, or even been introduced to the detective. What we have seen is the introduction of two female characters who, I can only guess, will later become the victims in the case. I am curious to see how the story progresses from here and how each character's storyline becomes intertwined with the others. This story feels like it has a lot of potential, and I look forward to reading the next chapters as they come."
