Great story. Part 2 of a set.
"This book is the second part of a story. It will only really make sense if you read ‘The Alphas and the Heiress’ first. This book is a dark romantic fantasy. There are dragons and wolves but no witches or magical spell-craft. There are some dark scenes that involve intentional, premeditated torture (particularly chapter 41). The dark scenes make sense as part of the story and are in keeping with the characters storyline development but they could be confronting for some. "

A couple of times during this book I was tempted to put it down because of what happened to the queen but as you stated in the beginning they had their happy ever after.
