Chapter 1
I woke up bright and early, yeah that's it, it's Monday Morning and all I wanna do is go back to sleep but my best friend Lucas won't leave me alone.
"Lucas i whined for the 50th time for waking me up.. How is he such a morning person unlike me?
"Alpha Alexander! he mimics me and I glared at him. He knows I hate when he does that shit,
"Seriously get up. We need to go to school."
"No! I want to sleep I cried out putting my pillow over my face to block the sun from shinning rudely into my eyes, gosh I hate mornings and what's more than hating mornings? Monday mornings!
"No, it's your 18th birthday and the day you meet your mate," he says.
"We'll I changed my mind I grumbled. Mates are special when it comes to being a wolf. I find it ridicules and a little bit of a stretch when they say you'll die for your mate. That's crazy to me and as much as everyone wants to meet there mate I wasn't one of them. Who knows maybe I'll be lucky and won't find my mate until I'm old and grey and wrinkly. But that's just a wish and a dream because I always had a feeling my mate was close by with how crazy my wolf always get but I never could pin point the source.
"Fine. I guess I would have to tell your parents your party is canceled he threatened me.
"You wouldn't dare I growled.
"But I would...Luna! He was about to tell when I shouted at him.. "Ahhhh! Stop! Fine!! I'll get up and ready for Fucking school! I shouted And I stood up and walked to my bathroom. "I hate you," I muttered turning on the shower and waited for the water to turn hot,

Since it's our 18th birthday we should go sky diving!
He suggested.
"Haha your funny. Let's make it another year before we plan our deaths yeah? I joked and I brushed my teeth and emptied my balder before I stepped out my boxers before I stepped into the hot water.
After I showered and got dressed and quickly finished getting ready. I felt satisfied with myself and I grabbed my phone and backpack from the closet floor and ran downstairs spread my arms. "Are you happy now?"
"Very," Lucas grins.
"Happy birthday baby! My mom says excitedly bringing a small smile to my face despite my distress. My mother got to me first, my father close behind. She wrapped me up in her arms, nearly suffocating me. "I can't believe my little baby is 18! I don't want to let you go!" She squeezed me harder.
"Mom." I wheezed.
"That's enough, Honey. You're hurting the poor
boy," Dad stepped in to save me. She reluctantly
let me go. My father's arms replaced her's.
"Happy birthday, Son. I love you,' " he said
quietly. "I love you too Dad." I smiled at him.
"Come eat my mom ordered pushing the others away and pushing me towards the kitchen counter and hands me a plate of strawberry pancakes with chocolate and whip cream and plate of bacon.
"Thank you, mom, I said excited to see food. I sat down when she hands me a fork and I started eating my delicious meal.
"So I know you have a full day ahead of you but don't you worry about a thing except on finding your mate. Oh my gosh I'm gonna cry again my mom says getting a little emotional again.
"We'll it's a good thing you can still spoil me than I said eating my greasy bacon, I love bacon. I live for bacon.
"He still ain't happy about the whole mate thing Lucas says.
"You will once you meet him/her my dad says.
"It better not be a Fucking girl I said slightly stressing about that.
"I'm sure she/he will be perfect my mom tries to reassure me but I can tell she's still worried hairy that because I am 💯 gay and so is my wolf. It'll just be awkward.
"What time is it?" I asked as I took my last piece of bacon and put away the dishes into the sink.
"Time to go Lucas says checking is watch and I rolled my eyes and we walked outside to my black queen my AKA black cameo I've gotten on my 16th birthday and got into the drivers side while Lucas sat in the passengers seat.
As I turned on the car the car started blasting your best friend something like that..

It wasn't long until we reached school. It was
packed with students. It was mixed with Half humans and half us and most of the late ones like us are still making their way to the entrance
since they walked all the way to school. But just as I was walking through the building I noticed a amazing scent lingering in the air like chocolate and forest pine and it was amazing. I always been addicting but I could never pin point the person that smells so Devine. Yes I said Devine deal with it!.
"I gotta go and find River Lucas says.
"Why? He is the worst human being in the world.. An asshole, arrogant, jerk, and my enemy. I know a little dramatic but my statement stands,
"He left his phone on the desk last Friday and I promised I would give it back Lucas says pulling out the navy blue iPhone 13 that's in a protective case.
Suddenly thinking of all the ways I can screw with him by finding out his dirty little secrets. Give it to me I snatched it from his hand and groaned when I see it's password protected,
"When's his birthday? I asked.
“I don't know.
“His moms? I asked clueless not knowing anything about him.
I don't know man Lucas says again.
"Ugh your no fun I said walking off towards my locker still refusing to give up the little thing I have over his head. That smell filled my nose. It was mouth drooling. I looked at the school where students were coming in and out the building.
I ignored it and opened my locker and grabbed my book I needed for my class and I turned to form face to face with River Anderson.
He has black hair that is dark as the night that's swept back from his face. His jaw line was sharp and his green hazel eyes, he had diamond studs in both his ears and snack bites in his lips. He was wearing black jeans a white fitted T-shirt and a black leather jacket with white Nikes. Only adding to his and intimidating features. Some people would find him attractive but I don't,, I mean no of course I don't.
“Your too close I stated to him.
"Is that mine? He suddenly asked and I looked down and noticed it was his phone he was talking about.
"Of course not. Why would I have your phone? I said I rolling my eyes.
"Because I'm amazing, fun, good-looking-"I and my phone holds all my secrets and I'm trying to make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands and someone try to expose me he says almost accusing me of such a thing.
"Really? That's interesting. But like I said I rather jump off the building than to touch something of yours, I wouldn't know where it's been I said. He gave me his famous smile,
"You'll come around soon," just like you and that boyfriend of yours won't last he said confidently.
I would never fall for his ass. I grind my teeth in annoyance because He seriously pisses me off.
"You don't know shit about me and Austin," I said and pushed him by the chest and sparks ran up my body and I gasp before pulling away quickly... holy shit,

thinking? Was she trying to punish me? River
didn't care for me. And we both hate each other
so why did she pair us up. Besides River is pure human.
"Bye asshole I said slamming my locker shut and walked away from him heading to class and no this asshole still isn't getting his phone back.
