"Gosh reading this story made my heart ache - Xavier is an extraordinary person and isn’t an ounce of a monster. He doesn’t throw a punch in the first place, he only defends himself and his loved ones. Yet most don’t see that, except Lilia, who is an equally amazing person because of how kind hearted she is. Xavier just needed someone to open his heart and bring warmth back to him and Lilia needed someone to help overcome the traumatic experience she went through. The bond they have is so beautiful and genuine 💜"

"What a beautiful and well written story. Everything was perfect. I loved the cops daughter and criminal concept. I know the author said that this was not her best work which i understand because she is a perfectionist judging by how GOOOOOOD/PERFECTTTTTT all her works are but i will confess your "..not so good works" are REALY REALY GOOD. I enjoyed this book ALOT. I was going through every Chapter with anticipation of what was gonna happen next.
