Taking a shaky breathe in to calm her racing heart, she knocked on the door while counting numbers Inside her head to reduce the anxiety and nervousness she felt at that moment "1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...."

"Come in"

Upon hearing that, Mia placed her right hand on the door knob and twisted it downwards before pushing it open, her heart couldn't stop hammering deep inside her chest as she walked in.

Mia didn't know why she was suddenly nervous, her head was bowed a little in a way that she couldn't see the men who were about to begin the interview but one thing was for sure, she knew that they were four men.....

After Greeting each of them, she passed her resume to one of the men who atleast looked cheerful than the others.

Soon, the interview began but despite the fact that she was answering all questions fluently like a machine, she couldn't help but feel cold shivers run down her spine each and Everytime the man at the middle uses his eyes to undress her.

She noticed that, he had been doing this since she walked in...

Taking the stares a little too much, Mia raised up her head and her eyes scanned each and every of their faces until it stopped at the man sitting in the middle of his companions.

His perfect elegant long legs were crossed and his elbow were bent and placed on top of the table in front of him. His wavy dark hair were coiled and beautiful, his piercing grey eyes staring back at her.

And he sat....just like a f**king God.

He stared right at her. So intense and direct was his gaze, mia found herself unable to look away-her eyes stayed locked with his like she was under a d*med spell.

One of the men sitting there, cleared his throat but that didn't seem to bring Mia back to earth as she continued to stare at him.

"Miss mia???"

Mia snapped back to earth upon hearing her name, remembering what happened and knowing the reason why she was being called, she felt her cheeks flame up in embarrassment.

"The interview has ended, you will be notified once your picked or not picked"

Mia nodded before turning around to walk away but as she walked, she felt her cheeks flame up not because of her previous predicament but she could feel that the hot guy sitting at the middle was staring at her.....her ass!!

His gaze were warming up her body, so, she quickly turned to look at him again but immediately their eyes met, he stared at her for a moment before licking his red lips in a slow pace.

Like...like he was going to ravage her and eat her whole.

Mia's cheeks were hot, she knew her face were as red as tomatoes, if possible, more than. Turning around again, she ran out of the office, closing the door behind her.

"Mia, Mia!!, Over here!!!"Sandy, Mia's best friend waved at her immediately she stepped out from the office, she walked towards Sandy who was secretly observing her.

When Mia was finally staring at her, face to face, a teasing smile appeared on Sandy's face as she stared at Mia.

"Your flushed, tell me, who made my nerdy best friend like this huh??, Tell me!!?"Sandy chuckled as she pinched Mia's right cheek but shockingly, Mia didn't hiss in pain as usual.

Rather, she looked like she was in deep thoughts and not only that, she was biting and chewing her buttom lip in very deep thoughts.

Sandy was speechless for some seconds, wait, was her dear best friend Mia replaced and an imposter was standing right in front of her!!!.

She knew Mia since they were in kindergarten and Mia was someone who doesn't like associating with guys, damn it!, No matter what she sees, it doesn't affect her.

Making Sandy think for a moment that Mia had developed some allergies to guys but.... seeing her nervous and flushed she is today, something isn't right.

But Sandy knew that even if she asked who made her like this, Mia would never tell her or worse she might deny ever meeting a guy, so she decided to change the topic.

"Were you able to see the C.E.O??"Sandy asked curiously, the employees had already told her that the C.E.O was very hot and sexy but she didn't want them to describe him, she wanted to see him with her very own eyes.

"Nope"Mia replied and before Mia could blink, Sandy had already grabbed her wrist and was pulling her towards the receptionist office.

"Andy, Andy , where are you taking me?"Mia asked with a small frown on her face but Sandy ignored her expression as she continued her little journey till she reached the receptionist office.

"Oh, is you again, how may I help you please?"The female receptionist said with a kind smile

"Can you show me a picture of the C.E.O please"Sandy said and the receptionist mouth dropped wide open as she stared at Sandy like she just said something stupid.

"You haven't seen his face, that is ...his picture before!!"The receptionist almost half-yelled out of shock but managed to regain her composure as she took a breathe calming herself before grabbing her phone...

"Here"The receptionist gave the phone to Sandy while Mia peeped at the phone.

"What!!"Sandy almost yelled out but Mia was fast enough to cover sandy's lips with her palm.

"Stop yelling, aren't you scared that the securities might throw you out and by the ways, why are you shouting!"Mia whispered and Sandy blinked a few number of times trying to be sure whether she was dreaming or it was Indeed reality.

Seeing that Sandy wouldn't tell again, Mia removed her hand from Sandy's lips and gave her a sign to explain.

"This is the C.E.O"Sandy whispered this time

"Yes, he was among the men that interviewed me"Mia replied casually while shrugging her shoulders, like it was a normal thing.

"Mia, this is Alexander white, the man who was rumoured to have killed more than five hundred people in just two weeks, he is heartless and a monster, you shouldn't think of working here or else you might end up in a searious mess!"Sandy whispered, making sure that nobody around heard their conversation but despite the fact that she lowered her voice, it didn't reduce the amount of panic and worry that is laced in her voice.

"B...but, I didn't know...this...i...

"You didn't know because you arrived at new York just last week...urgh, this is bad, we aren't coming back here again"Sandy muttered and returned the phone to the receptionist after thanking her.

"Let's leave quickly"Sandy muttered and Mia nodded in understanding, she knew her best friend was worried for her and she didn't like the fact that Sandy was this panicked.

As they turned to leave, they heard someone calling Mia's name.

"Miss mia!!, Wait a little"

Soon, he was in front of her breathing hard like he just ran a marathon race.

"Miss Mia, my boss wants you in his office now, please follow me"

Mia turned to Sandy and nodded her head, trying to tell Sandy that she was going to be fine.

After that, she turned and followed the man to Alexander's office.

Mia walked into the office and closed the door behind her, she looked around only to find out that the other three men were not there, it was only Alexander white.

She stood in front of him waiting for him to speak, but...he said nothing as his eyes ransacked her body, from head to toe.

The damned pervert!

"You've gotten the j.....

"I don't need the job anymore, I want to leave"Mia muttered and Alexander's once calm and collected expression hardened as he stood up from his chair.

His gaze were pinned on her as he walked towards her, like a predator chasing after his prey but all poor Mia could do was to move back in fear and panick.

Mia turned to open the door....but, the door was locked. There was no escape route and before she could blink, he was in front of her, with his two hands while caging her in between.

He moved his face closer to her's making mia to hold her breathe, why?, Holding her breathe....was it in anticipation?

She couldn't tell...

"Mia, interrupt me again and I would punish you badly, that...."His lips were close to her ears as he whispered those wordings.

His hot breathe fanning her ear causing hot shivers to run down her spine.

What was going on?

Her body was working on its own...!!
