Prologue
For as long as I could remember, I’ve wanted to become an actress.
My parents always told me to reach for the stars when it came to my dreams, goals, and ambitions.
I’ve never tried to make a dream so far ahead that I couldn’t make it come true. But maybe this time I was biting off more than I could chew.
I mean, how could a southern girl with a small-town waitress job become an actress in Hollywood?
I had the talent back in high school. I was the lead in all the school plays. But would that be enough?
I decided I would save up enough money from my checks when I wasn’t paying my bills just to take a one-way ticket to California. I had one shot. One shot at making my dream become a reality.
I was determined to make it work. This is where my journey begins.
