Flipped
THE RAFT FLIPPED over and Shane’s world turned white.
He awoke in darkness, blinking at shadows. ‘Where ... am I?’
‘Here of course, darlin’,’ the voice said. ‘You’re home.’

Teen sitcom star Shake Baker sees his life go from hilarity to horror when he becomes the unwilling guest of his biggest (and craziest) fan. While white-water rafting with his parents, teen TV star Shane Baker wipes out ... waking up in the house of a strange grey-haired lady who keeps telling him he's "home." At first, her kindly attentiveness ("call me Granny") and constant chatter about how much she loves his show are just distractions as he tries to find out what's happened to his family. Then she learns Shane's show has been cancelled - because he refused to sign on for another season - and tenderness turns to torture. Obsessed by the need to bring back his TV character (a kind of son substitute, he assumes), she types scripts, sews costumes, builds a makeshift set in her living room - she wants the show back at any price, and what Granny wants ... Granny gets. As Shane's world goes from Howdy Doody to Halloween, he is powerless to resist, even as she ... tries to drown him in his bath ... locks him in with the remains of a ghastly family secret ... and invites him to play a refreshing round of Russian Roulette----as fan becomes fanatic, and Shane finds himself preparing for what Granny gleefully promises will be his "final scene."

Bumble71: I want a man just like Ghost! This story was so beautifully written, the will they won’t they plot at the start was suspenseful, from pig tails to adult hood. Angel basically stayed the same throughout, strong and independent, I liked that. The way in which they both healed each was beautiful. Great...

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

OamisAL: It’d been quite a while I read romance and love stories so I’m glad it’s this one I came across first. Very steamy and dreamy in places and my heart jolted with pain in places too. It’s also quite realistic and can very easily be a tried story. Well done for the imaginative understanding of the comp...
