I wake up to hear my mother call "Ayuna come get breakfast!" And some laughing coming from my little sister. I get up and get dressed. I then go downstairs and once I see my big brother, Zeke, and my little sister, Miami, I laugh—They fight over the last slice of bread. "You guys are ridiculous." I say. Zeke looks at me and snorts. "Says the girl who literally JUMPED IN her bus on the run from those people." I forgot about that. My friends, Sevor, Ally, Zack, and Noah–Were being chased by some people.–I don't remember who they were but they were insane, kill-hungry, and phycos.
The insane part could describe myself.
"Ah. Point taken. You gotta admit–Even if you weren't there it was pretty sick. Like something out of a action movie." I shrug and eat my two peices of bacon. I smile at my mother. "I am surprised you could even buy us some food.—Speaking of which . . Have you found anything on dad's abandonment?"
She shakes her head.
"No. I wish I have.–" She coughs. She's been sick and doesn't have the money to go find a doctor. "–Excuse me-, I have not. I will keep looking. I want you to go get that vase I gave you and if it's alright with you . . . We need money."
I nod at her. "I want to survive as long as possible. I give full permission to sell it.—Even if it has created a well remembered memory." I smile and finish my bacon. I go to my bedroom and grab the vase. I suddenly feel a bust of cold wind and someone tap my shoulder. I turn around quickly and then
It all goes black.
