Amelia~
We were sitting at the top of the mountains. The lake in the middle of these lush green trees made me want to get lost in it and never come back. It always gave me peace, whenever I came here, and today was no exception. My long hair was flowing with the wind which i had kept open for today.
I closed my eyes to feel the fresh air and inhaled the earthy smell. My mind was blank. I was just enjoying this beautiful moment.
I opened my eyes after sitting for quiet some time and found Olly staring at me with a genuine smile.
"What are you staring at?" I asked him.
"You." He replied still staring at me.
"But why me, when we have this beauty in front of us?" I gestured to the view with my hands, looking at it.
"Nothing is more beautiful than you Amy. Looking at you, when you are enjoying this time having that smile on your face, makes me want to stare at you for eternity." He replied.
"What do you like about me Olly?" I couldn't help but ask him this question, which has been bugging me for months. But i never had the courage to ask him, because i didn't know what he would say.
"Everything. Right from your hair that flows freely with the air. I can't resist myself from placing my hands in your hair and feeling it on my fingers. Your eyes, the way they light up when you find me in the crowd of people."
He pulled me closer by snaking his right hand around my waist, and put his hand on my left cheek.
"Your lips that i always wish would strech in a smile. Your smile Amy, it just makes my day. It makes me think that i am going right. I am not good enough for you Amy. I have flaws. Yet you are here with me. I can't help but reiterate it again and again that i love you the most. I never knew that i would feel this way, but i do. I didn't know love, but meeting you makes sense to me. It was always you and now i know it."
He joined our forehead together closing his eyes, and released a breath.
"Every day, I fall more for you, and it never seems to be enough. Because it never will be. Whenever I discover something new about you, i love you more and more."
I felt my cheeks getting wet, so i pulled back and saw that he had tears in his eyes. Seeing him cry for the first time in my life, made me emotional and a few traitorous tears of mine escaped too.
Every now and then, he tells me that he loves me, and at this point I couldn't be more sure. I hugged him tightly and buried my face in his neck.
"I love you." I said in a choked voice. I didn't know what else to say. But he must have understood, because he kissed me on my head and pulled me on his lap. He kept his left hand on my head and another rubbed my back soothing me.
We sat like that for some time before i pulled back a little to see his face.
