I think that some of us are afraid of death, or untimely death not because of what will happen to us, but what will not. I think death is an empty void which might be the complete,
final
end, where there is so rebirth, no punishment, no rewards—nothing.
It is something where perhaps there is no concept of a soul? What if it is like endless, dreamless sleep? When we sleep we don’t remember anything, know nothing. What if we just fade away?
Whatever ‘death’ is, we will not know unless we experience it ourselves…but what if we are not able to even experience it as we fade away?
Wow! Love how this has started!
