Chapter 1

Olivia walked into her grandmother's room for the first time after her death, it was a strange feeling, the feeling of emptiness, the feeling of loss. The room still smells of lavender and cigarette straw.

She takes the small trunk under the bed. The mysterious chest your grandmother won't let anyone open. But she gave the key to the trunk to Olivia. Grandma told her to open it when she left, that what was inside only she could solve.

Olivia feels nervous, not anxious, but nervous. Whatever's in here, her grandmother entrusted to her. And such responsibility makes her nervous.

Olivia breathes in and out, her hand holding the key shakes.

She opens the trunk, nervous eyes scanning every part.

There are only papers in here, old papers, dirty with dust and with cobwebs.

Olivia places the small trunk on the bed and takes one of the papers.

She blows off the dust and unfolds the paper.

She recognizes her grandmother's delicate cursive handwriting.

It was poetry, beautiful poetry.

Olivia has the impression that she has read that poem before.

She opens all the papers; are poetry and short stories of romance. A career as a poet has inside this chest.

Olivia reread it more times, as she has a strong feeling that she had read this entire collection before.

But where would she read? If grandma left it all locked away in a chest.

And why did the grandmother keep these poems?

They are beautiful and dazzling poems. At no time did she think about publishing them? Since she wrote so many?

This is very intriguing, a mystery.

A mystery that her grandmother left for Olivia to solve.

She spends a few minutes looking at those papers, looking in her memory where she had read that before.

It wasn't an impression, she'd read those poems in a book before, she's sure.

Like a light bulb lighting up in her memory, she remembers where she read it before.

Olivia looks for that book on her grandmother's bookshelf but doesn't find it.

She looks in her desk drawer and doesn't find it.

She looks everywhere and doesn't find it, but she remembers well that this specific book of poetry to which she read a poetry similar to the one on the paper, it was her grandmother who lent her.

This situation is getting more and more puzzling and confusing.

Olivia decides to look under the mattress, it was the only place she hadn't looked yet.

And there she finds the book under the mattress, the books are actually 5.

She picks up the first book, a dark green cover called The Crystal Flower.

And the next 4: The Stone Flower, The Winter Flower and The Flower in Pieces.

Her favorite poetry books.

She opens the first book and a paper falls out of it.

Olivia takes the paper and opens it, it was a note, addressed to her:

Dear Olivia!

If you found this book it means that your journey has begun.

I couldn't leave this poetic journey to anyone but you.

I've held on to this for a long time and it's time for the world to know the truth.

I'll be watching you from up here.

Sincerely: Grandma Livia.
