She stared out of the window. Gunshots rang through the air. They already have taken down half of her guards. She'll need to call the rescue team.
She doesn't think. It was a good plan. She can find another way but for now, she has to back off.
"A15 speaking, Back out now!! Save as many as you can and back out roger!" She said in the device.
No answer came. But as she watch, many of her team have started to back out, taking the rescued hostage children with them.
When she was satisfied that all of her team and the rescued kids are out safely.
She throws the mist grenade toward them.
The mist started to spread. Sounds of coughing came from everyone. Now it's her time to leave
When she turned. She stopped short.
There stood a man casually leaning against the wall with his hand in his pockets. His brown hair falls over his eye. Which is turquoise green. The rest of his face is covered in a mask. His fair-toned skin is covered in tattoos. He is shirtless. Just black jeans are covering his dignity.
He is weaponless, Which surprises her even more.
"You are quite fascinating to look at Miss Nick," He said to her in an accent she could not quite recognize.
"How did you know my real name!?"She asked him in awe.
He just laughed it off. "Nick, Don't you think you should run out of here. It's not a good place for fragile ladies!" He said.
Nick snarled at him " I'll shoot you square in your chest and will beat you to death. Then we'll see who is fragile!!" she said.
He smirked before walking toward her slowly.
"What are you doing??" She asked raising her gun firmly toward him but he continued to walk toward her.
One step, two steps then he was in front of her. He didn't stop eventually her back hits the wall.
He caged her between his arms. The gun has been forgotten. He palmed her cheek and caressed it with his thumb.
"Nick," He said her name.
She looked up, her gaze boring into his. She can't remember but he reminds her of someone.
"Get out of here as soon as you can, it's not safe here." He said still caressing her cheek.
"Who are you!?" She asked in a whisper.
He didn't answer. He just took her arm and dragged her toward an exit.
"Go," he said as he released her arm.
She looked at him the last time. Before running off.
