Chapter 1
My name is David Jones and I’m in love with the most beautiful woman on earth, her name is Senamile. She brings out the best in me, she makes me happy in all aspects of life;but we had to endure many things to be happy. Many people were not happy with our relationship, including her mother. I know she’s younger than me but I can’t control what I feel for her. There were times where I felt like I’m just bringing trouble in her life but she assured me that she wants to be with me at all cost . Her mother even sent people to kill us, not once and not twice but we survived all that. Senamile is actually or was my stepdaughter, I was married to her mother but her mom was just impossible and difficult to bear with , I started developing strong feelings for her daughter. I ignored it at first but they just became too strong and I had to act on them, unbeknown to me that she actually felt the same way but was afraid to do or say anything. It’s been a difficult road I won’t lie, I hope we get our happy ending. I’ll just take you through it all from the moment it all started..

I swear Zandile is going to make me grow gray hair young, it’s half past ten at night and she’s not back home yet. I don’t know what this woman wants from me, I love her so much, I give her everything she needs ;but she doesn’t appreciate anything I do. She cheats on me every chance she gets and disrespect me like she’s talking to a tree. I know I should leave her but I love her too much, I can’t just let go of her. She enters after a while wearing such a tight dress and she’s smelling like a tavern. She drinks like nobody’s business.
David:Zandi how many times do we have to talk about this? Is this the time to come back home?
Zandile:I’m so tired David, I want to sleep.
She stumbles until she reaches the bed, she just throws herself on her stomach and sleeps like that. I sigh deeply and take off her shoes and her clothes. Will she ever appreciate me though? It seems as if I’m in a relationship alone here. But what can I do? I love her a lot.

It’s morning and I woke up to take shower and prepare for work. I work at the hospital, and no I’m not a doctor just a nurse. A male nurse, weird I know but I’m passionate about taking care of people. I go to the kitchen for breakfast and Senamile is already there, she’s Zandile’s daughter, 21 years old in her final year at the Durban University of Technology. She studies radiography. I greet her and eat my food, which was already prepared by her.
Senamile :She came back late again, didn’t she?
David:Yeah she came back around 10pm
Senamile:*she shook her head *she will never change.
I ate and when I was done I said goodbye to her and left.

ZANDILE
I just woke up and David is not in bed, I’m guessing he’s already gone to work. Damn! My head hurts, I must have drank so much yesterday. I take my robe and wear it and head to the kitchen and no one is there, I guess Senamile is gone too. Yesterday was wild, I should do it again soon. I know David doesn’t like the life I live but he will have to be patient because he found me like this, I cheat on him every chance I get. I know it’s wrong but I want to, so I do it. My phone rings from the bedroom and I rush to answer it, the number is not saved so I just answer it.
Zandile:Hello
“hello beautiful”, it’s a voice of a man. I wonder who it is.
Zandile:Yes, who is this?
Man:It’s Barry sweetheart, we had such a great time last night. How about we do it again?
I don’t remember any Barry from last night.
Zandile :Of course, tell me the time and place.
Barry :Don’t worry I’ll send a car to fetch you, just send me your address.
I hung up and sent him the address quickly. I took a shower and wore a very nice dress with heels. I got to the kitchen just to drink water, David entered. Oh no, what is he doing home so early?
Zandile :Honey, you’re early today.
David: Yes I’m not feeling well.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance.
Zandile :Okay then I’m going out. Don’t wait up for me.
David: You’re going out again? Zandile have you forgotten that we are married? When are we ever going to spend time together as husband and wife.
Zandile: David I don’t have time for your shit right now.
David :My shit? You don’t even listen to what I have to say to you anymore? Why don’t you divorce me then because you don’t want me anymore?
Zandile: You’re crazy, I’m not divorcing you. You want to spend your money on these bitches. Think again bhuti!!
I heard a car hoot outside and I just left him there whining.

See what I meant?! It’s like I’m invisible to her, she even has her boyfriends fetching her from my house. Zandile doesn’t respect me, she takes me for granted. I left work early because I couldn’t concentrate, my head is all over the place. Let me just sleep maybe I’ll feel better after that.
