When Aurora, the princess of the enchanted forest decided to transport her fantasy land into the human world and keep it hidden from humans. She never thought that a human would have such an impact on all of her people. Such was the case with Jason Thompson, a man who was an incredible teacher in the human world. This is his story of how a human survived in a land filled with magical characters. He remembered like it was yesterday and how this new land came on top of him one day. He was a public school teacher and was on summer vacation and was camping in his RV when he saw this huge land overshadowing his RV and when a significant head injury allowed him to forget everything about his former life except him being a teacher. The enchanted forest didn’t know who he was or how he showed up in this new land of theirs but they also loved a great mystery. Aurora felt so responsible for this man having a head injury that she would visit him in the hospital every single day and would talk to him about all the adventures she and the enchanted forest characters use to have. Even though he was still in a coma and couldn’t respond to her she felt at peace in doing this for him. Snow White, the former Queen of the enchanted forest and now the mayor of the small town saw how much she loved to be around people and kids especially. Snow White caught up with Aurora at the hospital while Aurora was talking to him and said “Aurora just the girl I was looking for” Aurora smiled brightly at Snow and said, “Hey Snow what brings you by?” Snow replied “As you know we are getting a lot of kids here in our new home of Tennessee and as Mayor, I feel obligated to provide an education system for our kids. I found a spacious new building that could handle a lot of kids and I would like you to head up the school and make sure that we give our future kingdom a quality education on where we now live. Do you think you could handle that?” Aurora was one of the most willing people Snow has ever met in her life and Aurora got so excited hearing her question and said “Wow!! Of course I will do that, I am a bit stunned that you wouldn’t ask another princess, prince, or just a common person to be over the school.” Snow nodded her head “Yes, but we will need teachers and that’s where our wonderful princesses, princes, and others like this guy can help us be teachers” Aurora’s eyes lightened up “You find information on him?” Snow smiled and said “Yes, we found his Identification in the woods. His name is Jason Thompson and is from a town in Tennessee called Gatlinburg which is where our little town is hidden at. Once I learned his name I did some digging and found that he was named teacher of the year in all the schools of the state of Tennessee” Aurora looked down at the man and said “But he wouldn’t he want to go back to his home once he wakes up?” Snow White received some bad news earlier that day and told Aurora “I am afraid there is no way for him to leave here, once we are in this land there is no exit and I am afraid that when Jason wakes up he may not have any memory of his former life because of the head trauma” Aurora’s heart went out to him and she reached her hand over his hand “I’m so sorry, Jason this is all my fault. I caused this accident and I promise that I will make it up to you. Snow is there something I can do for him?” As she said that Aurora felt his hand squeeze her hand and Snow said “Looks like you already did something for him. You have been here for two weeks and has told him stories about our land. Maybe that’s everything he needed to wake up.” Jason’s eyes opened up and saw the ladies beside him “Which was one of you is Aurora?” Aurora squeezed his hand “I am Aurora” he smiled up at her “Thank you for the stories, I feel like I already know you” she smiled and said “That’s what I was hoping for, Jason. And you are most welcome. How about we get out of the hospital and maybe I can learn more about you” He replied “That sounds amazing” within a few hours he was released but they had a problem with where Jason could live but Aurora took it upon herself to find him a place to stay.

Later That Day

“It’s ok, Aurora you already have done so much for me. I can’t impose on your house” she offered her basement which she turned into a cool little apartment with a modern game room including a pool table and an Xbox One in one room and a bedroom in the other room. “Oh please Jason, you need a place to stay until you find your place” how could he say no to her with her eyes in a pleading way. He smiled and nodded his head “Ok, ok, Aurora but I owe you. I’ve never seen this kind of kindness from anyone I have ever met and I thank you for that” she led him to her home and once there she came clean with her mistake “Jason I haven’t been completely honest with you. It is my fault that you were placed in the hospital and have a bad case of Amnesia and how you don’t remember a lot of your life” Aurora doesn’t know the entire story and perhaps he needed to explain what happened leading up to this land dropping on him. “It’s not your fault, Aurora. The only reason I was in the woods was that my girlfriend broke up with me for another guy and I felt like getting away. If she didn’t do that I wouldn’t have been camping and then I wouldn’t have to run for my life. Please don’t blame yourself.” Aurora saw how much this other woman has impacted his life and she knows what that felt like. “I’m sorry my former boyfriend left me also. I never found out why he left me but I always had the faith that the right guy would come for me. But enough about me, are you hungry? I have some leftover pizza from earlier today if you would like to have it” he nods his head “Yes that would be great and think I will get to bed after that.” Jason ate until he was satisfied and went to his room where Aurora had let him stay but he honestly wasn’t that tired. How could he be since he’s been in a coma for weeks? He wanted to get out of the house and check out what it was like when the sun went down and this decision might come back and haunt him. The way Aurora set up this kingdom was Heroes ruled the day but the villains would rule the night and if a good person was caught getting in town at night would instantly be turned into evil and any evil person caught in town during the day would be turned into good but it’s only during the day or night if you go out at night you will only be only evil at night and if you go out during the day then you would be good during the day. He walked through the house and it was so quiet he peeked inside her room and noticed she was sleeping he went in and kissed her head “Night, angel, and thank you for everything” he was about to walk out when she stirred in the bed and he made his way outside where he saw how different the night life was compared to the day life. Gone was the hustle and bustle of hard workers and the folks that were out exercising and replaced with a lounge where the evil people would hang out and do whatever they do, drink coffee from the popular coffee station in the lounge or even listen to poets say their poems and for an evil place it was quite the romantic place. Once he reached the lounge he could already feel a different behavior coming upon him and his entire behavior switched when he saw her. She was behind the coffee stand when he noticed her smile and the quiet and shy person he has became so confident that he went straight to her but what he doesn’t know is the woman is Aurora’s arch nemesis, Maleficent, the former wicked sorcerer and her evil self knew exactly who he was and it would be poetic justice if she stole the man that Aurora was falling in love with. “Well! Well! Well! Look who it is? The new guy that has all the girls around here going crazy” she saw how much the girls were talking about him on public cameras that ran through the entire time. He smirked at her comment “Girls? I don’t need a girl, I need a woman and I don’t see that during the day just young girls” He said to her and with that Maleficent knew what she needed to do. What Aurora and Jason does not is if a person true loves kiss comes from an evil person he would become evil all the time and not just at night and vise versa with a heroic person. Mal’s plans was to get this man to fall in love with her and turn him evil. They spent the entire night together and sunrise was approaching and she must make her way home.

The Next Morning

Jason went to bed shortly before sunrise and slept till about lunch time and guilt ran over him about what he did last night and he did not know why. He went up to see Aurora and tell her what happened last night and when she saw him she approached him and said “I heard what you said to me last night and that’s when I knew that the whole time I was telling you stories about my former home wasn’t completely in vain. Whenever I ended a story about the enchanted forest I would always say, wake up fallen angel” he thought the angel part was just part of the continuous dream that he had while being in a coma and he was about to lean in when a voice came into his head saying “come to me, my love” he wanted to express how he felt towards Aurora but the voice in his head was Maleficent. He sighs and said “Aurora I went outside after the sun went down and I met the wrong person. She’s in my head, Aurora. You got to help me” his behavior changed on a dime and she saw the desperation in his face. She did not tell them he was not allowed outside after dark and the only thing she could do to save him was go out at night with him. “I’m so sorry, Jason. I should have told you not to go out at night. If you go out at night you will turn evil. The only way I can save you is to go out at night with you” after hearing those words he shook his head “No Aurora, please don’t go out at night. It will completely ruin you, I am already having a battle with it” she grabbed his cheeks seeing panic in his eyes “Hey, we are in this together and I am not leaving you to fend for yourself. I know how tough Maleficent can be and trust me you are going to need it. Please I lost my former lover to Maleficent and I can’t lose the man I’m falling in love with” Maleficent heard everything she was saying “Just ignore her and come with me, Jason” Jason shook his head “No, Maleficent. I will not come to you. What did you do to Aurora? Tell me now” Aurora answered the question “She coerced, Philip into being evil like her, and I lost him, and now Mal has full control of him.” Maleficent’s plan was failing right in front of her and she went to her plan b “Tell Aurora if she lets me have you then I will return her Philip the way he was and let’s see if her love for you is all it is cracked up to be” Jason gasped and said “You are a monster. Aurora, Mal said if you let me be with Mal then she will return Philip to you the way he was. Not an evil bone in his body” Aurora has heard enough and said “No, no, no I am done with the mind games. Mal, I am going outside tonight and I am going to have a showdown with you and I will win Jason’s heart.” Mal said “then so be it” Mal has lit a fire under Aurora and it was obvious that Aurora’s loving attitude is temporarily gone. She was going to be in the battle of her life that night and Mal should be scared because of all the ill will feelings toward her. Those feelings would be lethal for a sweet girl who was about to be evil and it was a scary situation. “Don’t try to talk me out of it, Jason, I am doing this for you and you will see how much I love you.” Jason would be lying if this new Aurora wasn’t appealing and he was kind of looking forward to seeing it.

Later That Night

Aurora and Jason stood at the front door watching the sun go down over the huge mountain range in front of them and he took a deep breath and said “In case tonight does not go the way that we want just know that I have fallen in love with you also and no matter what happens I will always come back for you, my angel” he wrapped a finger around her chin and soflty pulled her to him until their lips met. Once they kissed they felt a force come over them that was fueled by the love they had for one another and the two of them walked out on the porch expecting to feel a different attitude but nothing happened and as they walked out to duel with Mal. The streets were empty and the two of them stared down at Mal who was standing on the other end and someone stepped out from behind Mal and it happened to be Philip and Jason stepped up to confront him and Aurora stopped him by saying “I will handle this, this is my test” she stepped up and started to wonder why her behavior has not changed and Maleficent was wondering the same thing while Philip said “Just give up, Aurora. Me and Mal are way too powerful” She bumped into him and nearly knocked him over “Why would you even care? You never cared for me and before you left to be wicked.” Her words to him got him so heated and mad that he went off on her “OH YOU ARE SO BLIND TO THINK THAT I LEFT TO BE EVIL” she got into his face and dished it right back “WELL WHY ELSE WOULD YOU BLOW ME OFF AND LEAVE ME WITH SO MANY QUESTIONS AND NO ANSWERS, PHILIP? TELL ME SINCE YOU ARE BLAMING ME FOR EVERYTHING” she poked him over and over again until he said “I LEFT BECAUSE I DID NOT FEEL LOVED BY YOU, THERE, YOU HAPPY? I POURED OUT MY HEART TO YOU AND TOLD YOU HOW I FELT AND WHAT DO I GET BACK? OH WE ARE TOO YOUNG PHILIP, WE CAN’T POSSIBLY KNOW WHAT LOVE IS. YOU SHUT ME OUT, AURORA SO I LEFT YOU ALONE AND FOUND SOMEONE THAT WOULD ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM” Aurora shook her head in disbelief “THEN WHAT DID YOU WANT FROM ME, PHILIP?” he at last said “YOU COULD HAVE LOVED ME, AURORA. ALL I WANTED WAS TO BE LOVED BY YOU” Aurora saw the tears stream down his face and her decision was final they were just 15 years old when they met and now 7 years later she finally knew what love is and she backed up until she found Jason’s hand and she held it and stopped her yelling and said “I’m sorry, Philip, I had no idea that you felt like that but we were just teenagers when we first met and I am just now learning what love is, now please stand on me and Jason’s side so we don’t lose you” Aurora gave him a way out but he refused her advice and said “No Aurora as far as I am concerned I’d rather be banished back to enchanted forest than to stand on your good side again” with that being said Maleficent changed from her human form and into her dragon form and started to fly over Jason and Aurora but what she did not see was a glow coming from the couple’s hands and the more love Jason and Aurora felt for each other the more light magic came from them. The both of them looked up at Mal flying above him and aligned their hands up and once the magic hit her the magic sent her back to the enchanted forest and then they faced their hands to Philip and he was sent back to the enchanted forest. They looked at each other and looked at the entire night life and all the villains were sent back to the enchanted forest. Aurora looked at Jason and said “We did it, all of the villains are out of here and now we can live our lives during the day and night”
