Chapter 1 cocoa butter bean
Rooted and pulled from the ground and, not
yanked or plucked out like weeds. I need
that all natural growth like the herb I smoke
from Gods green earth. That vibe, that high,
something underneath, digged down deep.
All plants don't need fertilizer to enhance.
Just a chance to circumsize, and not be
minimized without my so, called situation
ships being anaylized, mistreated or
misguide. Open wide like butterflies that,
spread wild like beautiful flowers like my
last name blossoms that rose. That's why I
call myself rose blossom. Because I rise like
fire in the
spring time that harvest the fields. Raising
the bar at a volume I raise my
standards. The smell of fresh grass I yeild
Dirt, seed, sunshine and, rain sweet like
sugar cane. Giving me enough nutrients that
I can bare to gain. I'm like the tree that
stands tall, firm and strong. Without the
roots there would be no tree, there would be
no branches or leaves to support that tree.
Everything starts from the bottom. Taking
years to work it's way to sprout growing it's
way to
the
top this is progression. I feel the
connection.
Heavy arms that surround me
to love, hold and, lead me to protection. Me
of you, you of me of my reflection of my
own inner being. Enjoying a little taste
of honey
like cocoa butter bean. This is what I call the
garden of eden baring the fruits of my
labour is what I mean. I won't be your hoe,
one hook armed
captain saver. This ship has sailed across sea
I'll

later. I'm not your slave pinned and, chained
to
you and nailed. Like a hammer penitratting
a hole in the wall beating me senseless. No
pain, no
gain how could you be so shameless. I show
more in my words than, when I speak I just say
less. I
can't be
bought because I'm not impressed. I am a
writer,
a poet an, author this is how I express. I'm
am gifted and, I am blessed. Life is not
checkers it's about playing chess. Yes! But,
of course we're all caught up in someone
else's mess. I always try to live right and, do
my best. I happened to be downtown one
day. I walked into a poets lounge got up on
stage to voice my spoken word. As I told my
story the aduience listened and, for the first
time
I felt heard. When I was finished I sat down
at the table. I slowly sipped on my hot cocoa
I see
this fly guy walks in. He walked up to me the
words he spoke were smooth and deep.
They took me for a spin.
He said
hey, I'm not a loser are you looking to win?
So, I said not this bullshit again. He replied
I'm not asking for a relationship. I just want
to be friends. If you're heading home I can
give you a ride in my Benz. I said no thanks I
see you some other time this is where it
ends like hair that splits up from bad endz. As I think
about the men that did me wrong should I collect
my
revenge? I get on the bus I look up and I see a
crowd I see a friend of mine as I walk down the isle.
I sit in the seat across from him I said hey! I haven't
seen you in a while would you like to be pen pals. So,
he said yes with a big bright smile. He said! We can
get together hold hands, walk the beach, hike a little
bit and run a mile.
