Iris' blonde hair was swishing back and forth behind her whilst her face held a look that could kill

Loud footsteps going up the marble staircase to her mothers room, once there she doesn't bother knocking instead she just barges right in

Aphrodite is laying on her bed with a cucumber on top of her eyes but when she hears the door being slammed open ,she groans takes the cucumber off her eyes and eats it ,then sits up to face her daughter who is getting more angry by the second

"Iris" her mother states carful not to say anything incase it pushes her over the edge

"Is it true??" Iris asks as calm as possible but her mother can see that she's about to burst and scream 'till her brain bursts and no longer has a voice

"Is what true, darling?" Aphrodite asks even though she knows exactly what Iris is talking about

When Iris is about to say something she gets cut off by a white suitcase landing right in front of her

'16 minutes earlier'

The sun was pouring through Iris' bedroom window so the girl can't get anymore sleep

She decides on actually getting up today and not just lazing about like she usually would on a Sunday morning.

She walks over to her window and climbs out and sits on the ledge just looking down beneath the clouds that her parents mansion sits on top off

"Get off there sis" Eros her older brother asks her, then straight after barges into the room

"Why should i, the views nice"

"Because me, myself and i have something to tell you"

"Why do you speak like that you complete wierdo" Iris always says stuff like that to her brother it's just how their relationship is and she does love him really.

"Anyway what is it you wanted to tell me Eros?" She urges him on

"I just wanted to tell you that I'll miss you and it won't be the same here without you"

"Why would you miss me? I'm not going anywhere" she's turned around to face him at this point

"Oh shit, mum hasn't told you yet"

"Mum hasn't told me what exactly?" Iris asks her brother in an almost desperate tone because she's getting confused more by the second

"Oh you know just that" Eros is now sitting on the bed with his arms inform of his face almost as a shield

"Spit it out Eros" Iris is now next to her brother the views off down below entirely forgotten about

"Yourgoingtoawaizardschooltolearnmagic" Iris couldn't understand a word and she's starting to get annoyed so she takes a deep breath before asking

"Can you slow down" Eros nods and opens his mouth to begin speaking again

"You're going to a wizard school to learn magic" he pauses and looks at her then continues "it's in London down below apparently you have magic in you so your going there usually people start at 11 so you'll be in your 6th year and you'll live there for the year" he pauses again then slowly starts to back away from his sister

Iris is frozen in place the suddenly out of nowhere she gets up, still in her nightgown and rushes out her room on the way to make a visit to her mother.

'Present time'

A white glittery suitcase pops in front of Iris out of thin air and that stops whatever she was about to say to her mum

"What the hell is this?" She's pointing at the glittery suitcase, kneeling down next to it she sees that is has her name written on a tag attached almost like it's a delivery for her

She looks up just in time to see Aphrodite move up from her bed to go kneel next to her daughter to give her a side hug then points to the suitcase

"That's a suitcase" she tells her daughter trying to be funny but Iris is most definitely not amused by her mother

"And why would i need it" She side glances her mother whilst sipping open the suitcase to see it's already packed for her

Looking through it she can tell that her mother was the one who packed it simply because it has lingerie inside

Turning tinker mother she picks up the white set and just stares at her with a questioning look

"Seriously mother?!" Iris is appalled at her mother

"What i wore way worse right before i had you"

"Exactly I'm not looking to get pregnant any time soon" she laughs at her mother who now has her hand over her heart

"That hurt" she fake pouts then point to her heart "right there your words can kill Iris"

Most people might be embarrassed to have a mother like Aphrodite but Iris counts her lucky because they're like best friends, they're an identical copy of the other personality wise

"You know i love you mum, but seriously tell me if it's true"

Aphrodite takes a deep breath before putting on a huge smile and saying the five words that would change Iris life forever

"Your going to Hogwarts!"
