Characters-

KEI: Main character; Smart, Strong, and Artistic. She is 24 years old with black hair and blue eyes, at a height of 5 ft 5. Her name means ‘intelligent.’

Malik: Alpha King; Strong, Stubborn, and Athletic. He is 28 years old with black hair and gray eyes, at a height of 6 ft 6. His name means ‘leader.’

Atlas: Best friend to Malik and KEI/Beta; Brave, logical, and humorous. He is 28 years old with blue hair and blue eyes, at a height of 6 ft 2. His name means to carry.

Jason: Iris’s Mate/Gamma; Dependable, Bold, and Kind. He is 26 years old with blond hair and blue eyes, at a height of 6 ft 2. His name means ‘healer.’

Selene: Caretaker; Strong, Kind, and talkative. She is 64 years old with brown hair and brown eyes, at a height of 5 ft 6. Her name means ‘lunar glow.’

Iris: Kei’s best friend/Jason’s Mate; Cheerful, Bold, and Artistic. She is 24 years old with brown hair and brown eyes, at a height of 5 ft 5. Her name means ′messenger.′

Atalanta: Kei’s Bestie; Caring, quiet, and smart. She is 25 years old with purple hair and blue eyes, at a height of 5 ft 1. Her name means ′equal in weight.′

Chapter One

‘Let’s call it what it’s a masterpiece’ I groan as I wake up. ‘Got a whole lotta...’ Rubbing my eyes, I look around me to see my little sister dancing and singing along to 4 town, from her new favorite movie, turning red. My sister is 8 years old and today is her first day of 2nd grade. As I stand up, I grab the remote and lower the volume, not liking the fact I still share a room with her. She started screaming and scratching me to give her the remote back. I sigh, giving up, handing it back to her before heading out to get ready for the day. Today we have a big project we are about to finish about a new hotel building that we are 3d printing along with hoping to have a shop in the hotel, along with that we also have a big alliance that I am hoping to form. I own a 3D printing shop, one of the most successful businesses in Hawaii. I shower before brushing my teeth and then heading back to my room. I put on a white blouse along with some jeans. Once dressed I head back into my room and tell my little sister Gala to get off the tv to start getting dressed. She groaned. "Remember today's the first day of second grade," I say walking up to her. She shuts the tv off before standing with a sad expression on her face. I hold her hands looking her in the eyes, she did not look back but instead was looking at the floor crying. I sigh. "Hey, what's wrong?" I ask her lifting her chin to look me in the eyes. She wipes her tears quickly. "huh, nothing. I am just so excited" She said looking down again. I sighed not believing her but let it go. I start tickling her, and soon she is laughing on the ground. "Stop, stop!" she yells and I laugh before standing up then picking her up and bringing her to the closet to change her. Once she was dressed we head to the kitchen to make breakfast. Gala sits at the table while I start to grab some eggs and a pan, I turn the stove on to start making eggs.

10 minutes later-

I was putting the pan in the sink when I heard a knock at the door. I dry my hands off, walking through the kitchen to answer the door. I opened it and saw Selene, with her brown hair and brown eyes bright as ever. Smiling, I invited her inside. She is the nanny to my little sister, and nanny to my son as well. Yes, I have a son named Dillon who is 4 years old, and yes I know who the father is. I let her in giving her some instructions before saying goodbye to Dillion who just woke up and is now sitting on the couch watching Bluey with Gala. I tell Gala it is time to go. She says goodbye to Dillon and Selene before we head to the door. We walk out and I close the door before we walk over to my Jeep. I open the door for her in the back seat and buckle her in before I walk around and get in the driver's seat. I drive the 3 blocks to Moongrove elementary and drop her off. I asked her if she wanted me to come in, but she wanted to be a big girl and go by herself. I felt tears in my eyes when she said she did but still allowed her to. Once I was out of the parking lot I went back to my block where my work was which was only a few buildings down from my house.

I entered the building, getting greetings as I walked by people. Walking to the elevator, I push the up button. The elevator pinged, and I entered it, pushing the number 8. The doors started closing. I took my phone out to check my emails. I heard somebody yelling, I looked up to see someone squeezing through the elevator doors. I looked at them weirdly. I put my phone away, looking at the panting woman. “Are you alright?” I asked, the doors finally closing all the way. “Yeah, just let me catch my breath.” Can ” She inhaled a bunch of air before continuing. “You push the number 8 please” She continued panting. I smiled. “Lucky for you, that’s the floor I’m heading to. She finally looked up at me, not breathing as hard. “I recognize you, I just don’t know how? Let me think about it.” She thought for a minute, studying me. “Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry for bothering you.” She said, finally realizing who I am. I smile. “It’s fine, no worries, now can I ask why you’re coming to my office?” “Um.” She says, the doors open to the 8th floor. “Come, let’s continue talking in my office.” She nods before she follows me to my office. We walk past my PA before entering. I went to put down my bag, before sitting in my chair, I looked back at her to see she wasn’t sitting. I point to the chair across from me for her to sit. She walks to the chair and slowly sits down. Once both seated, I start talking. “Please continue.” She takes a deep breath. “Um, I forgot to introduce myself. Hi, I’m Atalanta, and I’m from the child center on the second floor.” she continues when I nod. “So, we have been having a problem with one of the printers lately.” she continues until she is finished. I give her advice to put up a sign until I buy a new one. We continued to talk about random things until there was a knock on the door. She smiled standing, saying goodbye before letting the other person in, and she left. “Hello, Ms. Smith your next appointment will be here in 5 minutes.” I nodded standing up with my computer before heading down to the meeting room.

I walked into the room to see three guys already sitting there, there was the head of finance, the manager of the hotels, and the manager of the 3D shops. I walked by them until I was seated at the front of the 8ft table. Putting my computer on the table, I opened it before starting. ” Alright, let’s get started.” They all nodded before I continued. I pulled up the analytics of this month on my computer which then cast to the big screen on my right. “As you can see, since last month business has been at its highest peak” I pointed to the screen. “The child center has been going up along with the business printing, and the clothing line printing. Another good thing that has been going up is the new hotel” I changed tabs to photos of the hotel then back to the analytics. “and that is what you are here today for, our next big project, one that can change the company for the good.” I said looking at them, and they all smiled.

I continued talking about how if we continue to use 3D building it will change the world along with expanding the hotel chain across the country, before the world. two hours later we finished the meeting. I greeted them goodbye before standing up and heading back to my office.

I sat in my chair and started going over the documents for the company.

2 Hours Later

I picked up the documents, putting them in my top drawer before taking out my laptop and some files for the last meeting of the day. Once I got to the apps needed on my laptop I looked down at my wristwatch to see it was 2:20, which meant I still had 10 minutes until the meeting begin. I stood up and went to the elevator, the doors opened and I headed to the first floor. The doors opened and I walked out being greeted by employees. I smiled back at them while walking past them till I was out of the building. I walked to the cafe 2 buildings down, I walked inside to see that it was pretty empty with only 10 people there. I walked to the front of the line and ordered a smoothie.

2 minutes later I got my smoothie and started walking back to my building. I got back to my office and sat down waiting for the company to arrive. I was taking a drink of my smoothie when there was a knock on my door. I said to enter, and 5 seconds later they were sitting in front of me on the other side of the desk.

They started talking. "Hi, we are Atlas and Jason, the COO and CIO of 'MoonVal Grove.' " I smiled "Nice to meet you, I am KEI the CEO of '3d Kare Entertainment Industry.' "Nice to meet you," Atlas said shaking my hand before Jason started speaking "Yes, well our CEO is going to be coming, but he will be a little late. He had a family issue at the last minute." I smiled "That's fine" I paused for a minute before starting the conversation again.

"Alright, let us begin," I said. We started talking about how my company could benefit from their ink and printing shop which was the largest in the world and even country. After that, we talked about how they could benefit my company. We finished up by talking about how we would work together and when we would next meet time to see if it will work out.

"Thank you for coming," I said while they stood up. "Yes thank you," Jason said. I stood up along with them. Walking over to them I shook both of their hands. "I hope that Malik will be able to make it next time." "Yes, I do hope so" I replied putting my hand to my side. "Thank you once again," I said before they opened the door and walked out. Once the door was closed I sighed and went to sit back down. I closed my laptop and put the files inside the desk before leaning back in my chair. Closing my eyes I was able to relax for the first time today. I sighed before sitting back up, I put my hands on the desk looking around the room before deciding to throw away my Smoothie cup. I grabbed the cup from the edge of the table and scooted the swivel chair over to the end of the desk where the garbage is. I brought the cup to my mouth sipping the little remains before throwing it into the trash. I scooted the chair back over to my desk and saw that there was a fallen pen on the ground, sighing I get out of my chair before slowly bending down and grabbing the pen.

I stand back up and put the pen in the cup holder full of pens and pencils. I then sit back in the chair and decide to organize my desk since it was starting to get messy, there were pencils on all corners and a bunch of paper was scattered across it from all the paperwork that I had to finish. I started grabbing papers and putting the ones that belonged together in stacked piles. I was on the third stack when I heard my door being slammed open.
