“ARGHHH!” I’m going to be late for class if I don’t get out of the house in the next half hour.
Waking up late is not a good way to start the day off. I hurried out of bed into the shower.
Completing my morning routine that consists of showering, brushing my teeth, washing my face and putting on something to wear.
Breakfast might be the most important meal of the day but it can wait. I grab my keys and head out the door.
Just as I get to the bus stop, my bus to Flatbush Junction is arriving. Perfect timing as usual.
Traffic is going by pretty fast. So, after four stops I’m at the train station paying my fare and onto the 2train.
It should take twenty minute to get to my college.
I take out my Accounting book and a paperback copy of Accounting for Small Business Owners and start reviewing my notes from the last class.
I pop my headphones into my ears and close my eyes for a few minutes. I figure if I go in with a good attitude, the day could only get better.
When I open my eyes I realize that I’m at my stop. So much for reviewing.
I rush out just as the doors are closing and run directly into a wall. “Woahh” says the wall. Am I going crazy or did the wall just speak?
As I bend to pick up my fallen notes, I notice I’m not the only one reaching for them. The wall was a man. A very handsome man. Olive skin similar to my own. Broad shoulders with toned arms that fill out his shirt in just the right places. Mesmerizing eyes to which I can still feel my eyes lingering.
