Got my results! Excited about my new journey. The new phase of my life was about to begin. The journey of my college Life.
Hello, I’m NIGRIV, a total impassionate commerce student who was able to score some decent marks in his class 12th board exams in order to gain admission to the renowned University of India, and yes I’m talking about Delhi University, not JNU. I have many fantasies and dreams about my college life, and I want to live it exactly as I see it in movies and web series.
I've always wanted to be in the spotlight, someone who everyone admires. Not that I want to be a politician. I chose to be THE class representative; I had to compete for this position among my classmates. I'm the class representative for my class here. To be honest, it is a pretty tedious job to accomplish; it takes a lot of effort to keep yourself and your students up to date with University alerts. Being a Class Representative helped me communicate with the rest of the class. I suppose I'm becoming popular with women. Every day, I get a different text message from different gal. To be honest, the messages they sent were simply inquiries about college. But who cares? I get to converse with the Gals. I know I seem silly, but I've never had a girlfriend before and I've always wanted one. My initial dream is to meet my first girlfriend in college.
When the classes began, the bulk of the females sat on the left side of the room, as if they were afraid of contracting a plague from the guys. But then I noticed the most gorgeous girl fixing her hair next to the window; her name was AYRA. I had spoken with her previously, but it was only for the purpose of exchanging assignments.
After a few days, I received a message from AYRA, and I was curious to see what was in it. When I saw her asking for the assignment again, I answered, "Why do you text solely for some meaning?" We did argue for a time, but there is an old adage that every love story begins with a dispute. My story begins here. We started communicating through texts, but I have a different mentality when it comes to talking in person, so approaching her in college was a challenging challenge for me. I had a motive for going to college, so I attended to my class, but my focus was on AYRA. Her spectacles made her the cutest girl I'd ever seen, and her hairdo made her even cuter. She can win millions of hearts with her open hair. Although her eyes were concealed under the spectacles, I could see the sparkle and brightness in them.
We talked every night, but I never had the courage to meet her in person, so I avoided her. But one day, when I was waiting for class to begin, she approached me; I was taken aback and couldn't say anything. She was more communicative here; we started talking with our backs to one other, and I was having a fantastic time until her buddies came to rescue her from me.
I wanted to ask her out on a date but was afraid she'd think I was a pervert. Everything will be shattered, including my reputation and feelings. So I prepared to invite her to go shopping with me, and she consented. This made me the happiest man in the planet. Every time I had with her was priceless. When we went shopping over the weekend, I had already chosen to buy a shoe, and I'm really choosy about shoes. We searched the entire market for shoes and came up empty-handed; I was unable to purchase anything. At the end of the day, everyone has to go home, even us, but the hardest part for me was saying goodbye; I wanted to hug her and say, "Don't leave, stay with me." My mood was deteriorating as the distance became closer, and when she descended from the metro, I couldn't take my eyes off her till the train left. I had a cold by the time I got home.
I made a couple of buddies here, with whom I spent the most of my time at college. Roaming about and talking about anything except studies. Had some crazy parties together and got to know them more. Once I even got into trouble while doing a dare, given by my friends, someone else would have forfeited their friendship with them after listening to the dare. They gave me a dare to stand on the campus holding a banner in which
“Hello, I'm NIGRIV
Mean a virgin”
was written on it. That was very embarrassing for me, but I didn't back down. I performed it, and I was the talk of the college that day, as I was recorded by everyone present. Every Instagram story included me. Though it hurt, I didn't give a damn since what I did was merely a dare, and everyone in college now knows who I am. I now possessed the Limelight.
I don't have any favourites among professors, but there was one who stood out because of her teaching manner. She was a highly involved and helpful teacher who allowed me to share my ideas and thoughts on every topic under discussion. But not every instructor is like her. Most of the instructors slacked off on their duties, and their way of teaching was extremely monotonous. We were unable to grasp any of the topics they presented, so we began bunking his class. We used to go to computer laboratories because they were completely air-conditioned. As the semester progressed and examinations approached, we discovered that every student is required to have a total of 60 percent attendance in class, and we had scarcely attended any. We went to professors and pleaded with him for attendance, but there was no indication of approval. Later, after college, we tried again, and he proposed a deal that if we could wash his car for the full month, he may reconsider our problem. It wasn't appearing too horrible at the moment, but after discovering that he owns four cars, we had some unpleasant experiences there.
We felt that taking lessons sooner would have been preferable. We finished the exams and now have a summer holiday.
One of my friends BHAVNU gave me an idea to kick off our very own startup of drop shipping; I declined, not because I didn't want to work with him, but because he lacked willpower. His thinking abilities and money-making ideas are exceptional, but he struggles to make those ideas a reality. He started it on his own and ended it after a week or two.
My friends organised a night party, but while you're with your family, you don't have much freedom. Most of them were bachelors, so they could do anything they wanted, but I had certain constraints. I watched them having a good time at the party on their Snapchat stories. AYRA was also present. I planned to go on a vacation with them, so I persuaded my mother to let me go on a trip, which she agreed to, but later my friends turned me down, which irritated me but I couldn't do anything about. BHAVNU was ready to go for it; he said he would come, and I, BHAVNU, and my close buddy KRIS embarked on the trip the next week. We did a lot of incredible activities there, such as rafting, bungee jumping, and camping. I made some wonderful moments with them. We resumed our mundane lives after returning.
