He knows the laws as well as she does. Love has no place in their hearts. They are eternal rivals. Eternal enemies. But every day their love only grows stronger, from which each suffers day by day. Prologue

2050

Norway, Oslo.

In thirty years, the world's population has experienced more than it has in centuries of existence. In 2030 a world nuclear war broke out, after which many cities were wiped off the face of the earth, indeed whole countries disappeared forever in human history. Two years later, the main warfare was over, but the damage to the planet and us with it was immense. All areas of life, if not destroyed, were severely crippled. We have gone back several centuries and tried to develop again, but it was so slow that people realised that they were stuck in this stone age for a very long time. The government was no longer concerned with domestic politics, only with foreign policy. They were like children, playing with other people's lives, not even thinking that they were slowly killing their toys. There was a dictatorship in the countries and different groups started to appear and God knows what they were up to, and nobody wanted to know. Because of poverty people became as wild as dogs and were ready to devour anyone for a piece of bread.

Consequently, there was rampant insanitation and in 2040 a terrible disease struck the world. The plague mutated and a new virus was created that struck all walks of life, regardless of age. The remaining population was decimated by the epidemic and shrunk to a fraction of its size. Five years later, a remnant in the form of the world's scientists were able to develop a vaccine and were actively injecting all survivors.

By 2050, the disease had gone nowhere and still many were being infected and dying, even though a vaccine had been made. The main warfare was stopped back then, but many countries are aggressive, so they are still fighting to this day.
