Chapter 1
Age 14
"Mom does he have to bring his stupid friends over again tonight?" My brother Mark is having another party he is only 1 year older than me. "Yes crystal and you had better be nice to her Mark I swear to you I'm not playing around if I come home and she is upset your ass is grass!" My mom takes her stuff and heads out the door. We hear the car start and her drive away. "So sis what are you going to do tonight? You know you can always join in right?" Sigh*
"Yeah thanks Mark I'm going to go to my room ok?" I don't plan on helping him set up the party. I head to my room and shut the door. Mark is always trying to help me be happy and it never works. I need freedom I need to be able to feel the wind on my face. I sit down on my bed and do sudoku. Yeah I know I'm such a joy to be around in the most fun person in the world. In case you didnt notice that was sarcasm.
Soon I hear the music downstairs. But I hear the rumble of my stomach over it. I remember I never got to eat dinner! Well we all know that there are snacks down there I mean its a freakin party there has to be food! I get up and go downstairs. Wow ok there are so many more people here than I had originally thought! U move around the people and to the kitchen and see pizza boxes I open one and see pepperoni I grab the box. "Hey what are you doing you don't get to just take the food and leave! Come say hello first!" Says my brother in the other end of the house. He is surrounded by people-guys. I move around people again and go to my smirking brother. "Hey sis this is Jake, will, and avery." He gestures to each of the guys. I look away from their gazes. "You know you can still join right, and if your nervous because you dont know anyone then you can just hang out with us."
"Thank you Mark but I cant!" I tell him. "Yes you can crystal mom isn't here to tell you any different so let loose and have some fun! Hey guys you mind if she joins us?" They all shake their heads. "No that would be great if she did." Says jake. He is so hot he has shaggy brown hair and brown eyes.
