Chapter 1
I pull up to the ranch and read the sign “ Welcome to Gambino’s Ranch, you’ll learn how to ride ‘em and how to rope’ em ! “. How in the hell is this an ideal present for someone, I think to myself. The only reason I’m here is because my sister got me a gift certificate for it for my birthday.
When I step out of the car a lady wearing blue jeans and white t-shirt approaches me. “ Welcome to Gambino’s Ranch, I’ll show you to your room so you can get freshened up for the riding event, my name’s Casey by the way. “ Wtf a riding event, I’ve never even seen a horse let alone rode one.
“ Now have you ever ridden a horse ? “
“ Nope, never even seen a live one “ I say with a chuckle. She looks at me with a smug look and says “ then you’re gonna have to have a lesson with Grayson, but I should warn you he’s kind of a dick, ill take you to room so you get dressed you dont want to ride a horse in...that”. I was wearing a white crop top with black leggings and slides with fuzzy socks, i just nodded and she started walking towards a large farm house.
She leads me to my room and gives me directions on where to find Grayson. After I take a shower, I start going through my clothes looking for something to wear. I picked out a pair of blue jean shorts, a black tank top , and a red plaid shirt with some cowgirl boots I bought just for this trip that I’ll probably never wear again. I tie my blonde curls up in a bun and head out to the pasture where Grayson is supposed to be. I’m already dreading meeting him. Casey’s words keep replaying in my head but as soon as I see him my mind goes blank. He was the hottest man I have ever seen. He is wearing a wife beater and since he was sweating you could see every muscle that man has. He was built like a Greek god.
