"So far, I like this. There are a lot of moments where small, simple things bring us closer to the characters, like the laundry scenes, the lake scene, reading the book to the children scene, and so on. I like how the "alien" doesn't look much different than us. It's a new take, I think, as many alien novels describe them being different from humans. I feel like the author does a good job showing that being alien doesn't mean they are that different from humans. There are a few things that pull me from the story a bit, but nothing major, in my opinion, and it didn't stop me from enjoying the story. 1. The alien ship during the early chapters, it didn't feel like much of a spaceship. It felt more like an airplane. The alien has technology that humans don't, and I didn't really see it with the ship. 2. The alien broke the glass window of the ship. If the ship can handle the pressure of space, crashing, and water pressure, I don't understand how this alien could break it out with his elbow. Could add a fancy alien device or something to assist 🤔. I really enjoy this, I'm looking forward to reading more, and im excited to see what happens next. Who is the unknown person, and what do they want? When will the MC get with her love interest? (The slow burn is killing me, and I'm loving it 😍) The writer has a great voice and is amazing with characters. I'm looking forward to reading more."
