Chapter 1
~~Aizawa POV~~
It was another dark and quiet night out. Night Fox must be out again. I thought to myself. Maybe instead of looking out for crimes, I should be looking out for the fox.
He was clearly out tonight, as every crime alert I got was already taken care of by the time I got there, each with a note saying,
"You missed me Again, and you were late. Try again Next time~ Signed Night Fox"
Every time Night Fox outsmarted the hero's, none had even gotten a glance at him, but even if they did catch him, they wouldn't be able to arrest him because he had never shown any signs of using a quirk.
"Shouta?" Mic looked at me worriedly.
"Oh, Sorry Mic. I got lost in thought." I said taking a quick glance at him.
"Night Fox?" He asked already knowing the answer. I nodded.
"He just keeps stumping me, always avoiding hero's taking care of crimes before anyone can even get close, never leaves a trace, and never seems to use a quirk." I growled in frustration.
"We'll get him eventually." He placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm sure we'll get him in time..." I mumbled quietly.
"Let's go home, looks like our job is done for us tonight, again." Mic said motioning Aizawa to come along.
~~Izuku's POV~~
I watched as the two Pro's left not noticing me. Yet again.
"Hey Izu, done with you're patrol yet?" One of my friends asked me. Her quirk was telepathy, like my mom but much stronger. She could communicate long distances through her mind, teleport, and lift things with her mind.
"Yeah, on my way back now."
"Ok, sounds good, see you soon!!" She was always excited, overboard sometimes too. Who am I kidding, she's always overboard.
I began to head to her and her brother's shop. I hopped from building to building. It always seemed like to long of a time until I got there. The girl that I was just talking to was Aki, and her brother was Kiiro. They were the only people who knew my identity.
'Ah, There it is.' I thought as I saw the small, light blue shop up ahead.
I opened the door, but didn't go inside, I was hiding behind the door, and Aki came tumbling out, expecting to give me a hug, but instead landing face first on the yard. "Izuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu~" She complained.
"Get up, I'm tired, I need some of Kiiro's hand made coffee." I muttered, grabbing her and hauling her inside by her foot.
"Hey Izu, I already got your coffee ready for you." Kiiro handed me a coffee and I immediately dropped Aki and grabbed it.
"Kiiroooooo, how do you do ittttt?" She asked her brother.
"How do I do what?"
"Make Izu like youuuuu!" She said in a voice that said she thougt it was obvious.
"He makes better coffee than you, and he's not annoying." I Answered for him.
"You're mean." Aki said.
"It's my specialty." We both started laughing at that.
"Shouldn't you get some sleep before school tomorrow Izu?" Kiiro asked.
"Why did you remind me?" I asked him.
"Izu, you can't just ignore school." He said.
"Watch me." I retorted. I hadn't told them yet about Bakugou, or any of my other bullies. I didn't do anything about them though because once I had before and it had only gotten worse. I was out of school for a few days after that.
"Come on Izu, you want to get into UA right? Didn't you say you wanted to be the first quirkless hero?" Now Aki intervened seeing her brother begin to give up.
"I hate you, especially when you use my dreams against me." I growled at her. She only giggled.
~~The Next Day (Aka 4 Hours later)~~
I sighed as I was walking to school. I always went early so I could get to class without seeing Bakugou. This school sucked, but hey, 2 more days until I could go to online school. Well, at least after summer.
"Hello Sir." I said to my teacher, giving him a quick bow, he just ignored me, like always. I rolled my eyes, and sat down at my seat, reading ahead for class.
SLAM
The teacher slammed a piece of paper on my desk and I flinched back. Bulling will take it's toll on you, especially after a couple of years of it.
"This is your test results, Midoryia" He said, a sickening grin on his face.
I looked closer at the sheet of paper, on the corner, there was a large red F. Guessing off of his grin, I assumed he had falsely graded me again. I would check when I got home. Everyone I found that had been falsely graded I turned back to him, and asked if he could change my grade. I kept it quiet, but tomorrow, if he had falsely graded me yet again, I was going to make a big deal of it.
The other students could care less about me, but exposing my sensei, will put a damper on their trust with him.
"DAMN DEKUUUUUUUU" Oh great, the Pomeranian is here. Putting up my day to day facade I responded.
"Hello Kacchan!" I responded
~~After School~~
I started heading to the public library, I really had grown a liking to the older lady that worked there. She didn't care that I didn't have a quirk. As she had gotten older, her quirk began to diminish, until she was like me.
I arrived in front of the large doors, only to realize that the library was closed for today.
"Hm, I wonder what happened, it's usually opened today." I said to myself, unaware that someone was listening to me.
"You mean you don't know what happened?" A guy asked, coming up behind me.
"Um, no, what Happened? Do you mind telling me?"
"The lady who was working here got a heart attack last night, she wasn't able to make it to the hospital fast enough." He said, his voice solemn.
"...Oh..." I may have seemed heartless in the moment, but the truth was I was to shocked and upset to say anything. "I have to go now sir." I told him giving him a quick bow and hurrying away
One of the few people who didn't care I was quirkless, had died... So that was the reason for all the sirens I heard last night.
I began my trek back to Aki's and Kiiro's shop.
~~At the Shop~~
"Hey Aki, Hey Kiiro." I nodded to them and set myself up at a table to start on my homework.
"Hey Izu!" Aki called a greeting to me. "Would you like your usual?"
"No, sorry, I don't have the money right now." I said smiling at her. She gave a small frown and nodded. Even without telepathy, I knew what she was thinking. 'Why on earth should a teenager have to work a job?'
On the topic of jobs, I didn't get paid for another 2 weeks, and I was already low on money. I got lucky that Aki and Kiiro let me stay with them for free.
"IZU!" Aki yelled at me, making me jump back in my seat. "Geeze! You can be a real space cadet sometimes." She scolded.
"Sorry Aki, what did you need?" I asked.
"I got your drink, it's on the house!" She said walking away before I could say anything. I only sighed. I took me a few more minutes to finish my homework and correct my test. Once finished I handed my cup to Kiiro in the back and began to help them out in the cafe.
Working hard all day at school, getting bullied, then working two jobs, it gets tiring. Trust me on this. And even after all that, most of my money goes to my father's drinking and gambling habits. It took a lot out of me, oh! And don't forget being the number one vigilante. No sleep for this human being!
(YAY! Chapter 1 on my first story is out, I hope it was somewhat enjoyable. I'm not the best writer, but I try to say the least!)
