"What I like about this author is that even though her characters are somewhat similar, they each evolve in their own way. Here we find my favourite couple (Perth / Saint). I must admit that Perth's character intrigued me a lot. There is a certain mystery surrounding him that gives him a lot of charm. And then there is the Saint, whom we love. I really like the fact that he is not portrayed as weak and dependent. Some subjects are still sensitive, but they are dealt with realistically. The complexity of the human brain is, here, fascinating and approached in a sometimes sensitive, sometimes brutal way. The distress of the protagonists is both touching and hurtful. Personally, I loved it. "
