Chapter 1
1.
“You ungrateful, good-for-nothing, ne’er-do-well, how do you expect me to behave sweetly with you?”
“I’m still your son! Who behaves like this with her son except for you?”
“I dedicated my whole life to you, and this is what I am getting in return? How dare you yell at me?”
“You are the one who made me like this!”
“How dare you?” The mother slapped on her son’s face and he fell on the floor.
“Fine,” the son said, getting up from the floor. “I am not going to live with you anymore. I can’t do this.”
Another slap. This time he didn’t fall, he barely kept his balance holding onto the table.
“YOU!” The mother was panting. “You ungrateful...” she couldn’t finish the sentence. Meanwhile, the boy went upstairs and came back with his backpack. While he approached the door, his mother grabbed him from the back but he freed himself and went straight out of the door.
“If you leave, then leave for good. Don’t you dare coming back and showing up in front of me again!” The mother yelled for one last time.
The boy turned at her and said, “I won’t.”
