Chapter 1
Emma's POV:
I woke up on a warm summers morning, with the sun streaming through the curtains. The clock read that it was just before 7 am, so I forced myself out of bed so I could get ready in time before I needed to leave. Today, was a big day it was the first day of 2 for the annual county show. I had been every year since I was a small girl and it was a really big event for my family.
I got in the shower and decreased the temperature. My skin froze as the cold water splashed onto my hot body. I washed my hair and used my rose body wash as usual, finishing off with my rose water body lotion. I went back into my dressing room and did my natural glow makeup then styling my blonde hair into loose curls. Next it was time for me to get dressed, I had chosen a blue floral midi skirt with a slit up the left side. It's tight waistline accentuated my figure while I paired it with a white crop top. I felt confident for once and I decided I couldn't wait to go out and just have some fun.
Unfortunately, my parents couldn't come this year because they were away to see some old family friends. I was obviously upset they couldn't come, but also excited to go by myself and have independence.
Once I was all ready I grabbed my cars keys and sunglasses and got in the car. I turned the radio on and started to make my way there. I was lucky as it was only a 10 minute drive for me, whereas some people were travelling for up to 3 hours.
The entrance approached as I was guided into the car park. I parked up and headed to the ticket office. Excitedly, I pulled out my ticket and it was scanned by a lovely ticket officer. "Enjoy your day miss!" He said softly. I smiled and replied "Thank you".
Entering the show-ground their were people swarming around, all with happy faces that surrounded me. The atmosphere was amazing, so many children laughing and giggling. There were stalls for miles, it filled 270 acres and there were many activities and agricultural shows commencing.
