The best years break out from a seed,
Our selves were called wasted, but we were happy,
Dumb enough to know it all,
We’d only answer if love would call,
Labeled “stupidity” on what they said we needed,
Helped ourselves with only what emotions wanted,
Longed to burn everything we hated,
Bit lines of dust when frustrated,
Darker hours became a second home,
Just cried and cried when felt alone,
We’ll call it our best years in the future,
Now, we see it in a small picture.
