Chapter 1

The kids coming running down the hall into the classroom. The teachers greet each child and get ready for the day. As roll is taken they notice one child in particular isn't there. The class takes in a deep breath and gives a sigh of relief.

Much to their horror and dismay, the child enters the room. Some of the children are shook, and others are visibly upset.

The teachers give one another a look and proceed to greet the child as cheerful as possible. However, the child walks into the room and places their things in the appropriate cubby.

Once the children are settled it's time to proceed to the days lesson on kindness. The children are singing songs and answering questions. The feared child opens their mouth to speak. A harsh hush falls over the room. The child says, "I would like to answer what kindness means to me." The teacher looks at the child and says, " We would love to hear what your answer would be." Before the child says anything a small voice comes from the back of the room and says softly, "please be nice with your answer."

Finally the child speak and says, "kindness means not smacking the crap out of your classmates just because you want too." Then proceeds to say to the mousy child, "was that nice enough for you?"

Everyone in the room is stunned at the answer. For a few moments no one says a thing. The teachers all just take a look at one another bewildered as to where this comment would come from. One child breaks the silence and says, "maybe we should all have a stiff drink of vodka."

Without a second thought the classroom teachers erupt in a laughter that can't be explained. The disturbed child just looks and continues to now sit in silence.

As the afternoon approaches the tension in the room starts to evaporate until lunch time. The children are all excited to eat then head to recess when there's a scream from the other side of the room. Blood is on the floor and the children begin to scream in unison. In a panic the teachers are trying to figure out what happened.

There's a child on the floor with a busted head. The teachers ask how in the world did this happen? One teacher runs out of the room to view the cameras to see the sinister kid hit the other child in the forehead with a wooden block.

When the teacher returns she ask the sinister child why they hit a friend with a block? The sinister child replied, "that was me being kind, I could have pulled his eye out." Horrified the teacher calls the parents, principal and the police.

The parents try to explain this only happened because of a show that was watched the previous night. No amount of explanation could or would help this situation.
