The affair

The congestion of traffic was horrible, the noises of car horns and irate shouting were enough proof to Simone that she wasn’t the only one who felt frustrated. The continuous checking of her wrist watch or the nervous tapping of her fingers against the steering wheel of her car did not help her calm down. She needed out of the traffic asap! The longer she stayed coop up in the car, the more nervous she became, she needed to reach her husband office as soon as possible before she chicken out of doing what needs to be done. She knew driving and talking wasn’t legal to be doing, but she needed the pep talk from her sister in order to go through with what she had to do, reaching for her phone that was in the car seat adjacent from hers she collected it and speed dial her sister number before placing the phone to her ears, as she awaits her sister to pick up.

“Hey, that was quick how did it go?”

“Sadly I am not there as yet.”

“What do you mean you are not there yet?”

“Exactly what I mean, I am stuck in traffic.”

“ Traffic at this hour?”

“I know right, I was not expecting there to be traffic at this hour it’s 6:30 pm for god sake! I don’t think I can do this Ashley, I mean, I can just turn around and do this another day.”

“No, you are doing it today, you keep putting it off, you need to do this now, today, enough stalling Simone.”

“You’re right, I need to do this, I got to do this.”

“ That’s the spirit, you got this, in no time you will reach his office, no turning back now.”

“You’re right, I can see the building now, I got to go, I will let you know how it goes later tonight, tell Dave hi for me.”

“I’m always right, he’s not back from his meeting yet but will let him know you said “hi” when he gets in. Love you, all the best bye.”

“Thank you, bye.”

Hanging up the phone she throw it back over on the other seat before turning on her indicator to turn off the road and inside the underground parking of the building her husband work. Finding a spot to park wasn’t hard as most persons were already gone home for the day. Turning off the car, she took a deep breath, turn her eyes to the rear view mirror and do a once over of her face, checking to see if her hair was in place and a teeth check, if there was any lipstick on it. All was in place, saying a small prayer she remove her car key ensure the car was lock and made her way to the elevator that would take her straight to the floor her husband was on.

Her husband Josh was a lawyer, he had establish himself by opening up his own firm, so he had the entire 4th and 5th floor for his company, he had grown it from just himself to now hiring other lawyers. They were in the process of moving to their own building. Simone was extremely proud of him for making his dreams a reality at the age of 35. At the beginning of him working here, he had a keycard made specifically for her just incase she needed to stop by at hours like this, because of his line of work security is important especially if he’s working late at night, as is the case tonight.

Simone heart was racing so fast, it was making it hard for her to breathe to the point she felt she would pass out. As the elevator came to a stop on the 5th floor, she stumbled out collapsing against the receptionist desk which was now empty. After calming down she straighten out her long brown jacket and made her way to her husband office, It was eerie walking this floor at this hour of the evening without a soul in sight, what made it worse was that this floor was carpeted so your foot step could not be heard. The closer she got to her husband office door the more she could hear her heartbeat in her ear, coming to a stop outside the office door she remove the jacket using the keycard to open the door, She step inside eyes close

“Surprise!”

When no words were forthcoming she open her eyes and wish she had kept them close. As of late things were not going smooth between her and her husband, they hardly talk just random questions here and there,there was no spark as per her sister input. Simone was petite shy kindergarten teacher, she was a beautiful mixture of black and Latino, small oval face, luscious pink lips with beautiful almond shape eyes. She was also never seen without her glasses, when her husband first approach her, she thought someone like him would not be interested in her, a fling maybe, but not for the long run, his presence alone could dominate any room he step into. He is one of the most handsome man she has ever met standing 6ft2 athletic build, of African decent, he had a vivacious personality and the most fire with passion eyes. Sadly that fire has left his eyes awhile now. Which is why her sister Ashley suggested she did something to spice up their relationship. Earlier on in their relationship Josh had this crazy fetish of her dressing in the most scantily clad maid outfit, but she was too shy to do it each time he suggested. So in an effort to save her marriage she purchase a maid outfit that would tick off all the box in how scantily Josh would want her dress, and with a little encouragement from her sister who suggested surprising her husband at work, was now left standing baffled by what her eyes were seeing. Josh was standing behind Dave who was bent over Josh office desk dress in a similar maid outfit who her sister thought was at a meeting, was actually not in a meeting but was being thoroughly fuck by her husband. Both were now too shock by her unexpected visit since she never stop by to move from their positions. Simone felt like throwing up or running out but none of those were an option when she suddenly faint.
