Chapter 1
Jungkook’s POV
Being a Superhero is never an easy task. But at the same time, It’s interesting.
After patrolling the city, I flew back home and got out of my suit.
“Kookiee...” called my aunt from downstairs, “Dinner is ready. Come down.”
“I am not hungry, aunt. I’ve got school project works to do. I’ll eat later.” I replied, shouting.
Ugh.. my school projects are totally shitty but not as shitty as my teacher.
I took out the book I newly borrowed from the school library. The book of ‘Sherlock Holmes’.
I was busy reading it, when my aunt came inside my room, “Kookie. I am going to sleep. If you want, go eat dinner and clean the dishes, close the kitchen door, clean the dining table after eating and go to sleep. Good night.” She aid and left.
What??? Me??? Do the house chores??? (Jungshook lol) Ugh... That’s what I hate the most.
After having my dinner, I did what my aunt said and went to sleep, so exhausted.
‘Wow!!! What a nice suit. This new one looks so incredible’ Suddenly I woke up from my dream, thirsty, at midnight.
As I forgot to fill the jug that I usually keep in my room, I walked downstairs to the kitchen and drank a big glass of water. Locking the kitchen door, I came upstairs to my room.
Ohh... I’ve got a bad feeling, I am not alone here.
“Hello? Is someone in here?” I asked the darkness in front of me.
I heard a chair screeching sound. Slowly, I put on the light to see an old man sitting on a chair, playing with his hat.
“Waaah....!!!! Who are you?” I asked not so much, but a little afraid.
“Don’t worry, kid. I am here because of you. And I won’t hurt you.” He replied with a deep voice.
“Wait!!! I have seen you somewhere...Uhhh........ You... Dude, you look like Sherlock Holmes from this book!!!” I exclaimed showing him the book I was reading before.
“Dude? No, kid. My name is not dude. My name is Wooyoung. And people call me Sherlock Holmes.” He said.
“Wooyoung?? Sherlock Holmes?? Oh... So, you’re one of his big fans, right? Well, me too. I love him a lot.” I smiled at him lending my hand to him for a handshake.
“Fan?!! How dare you call me a fan of myself, little boy?” He didn’t accept my handshake.
“Uh.. I’m sorry, I’m not a little boy. I’m 17 this year.” I replied.
“And I’m sixty. The real Sherlock Holmes. Yes boy, I’m the one.” he said.
It was hard to believe him at all at first for me. But, gradually, it made sense that he’s Sherlock Holmes, for real.
“Oh... I’m.. I’m so glad to meet you in person, sir..” I was so excited, “But... how come you are here in this 21st century? Your era was between about 1880 and 1914, isn’t it?”
“Yes, child. I am also confused like you. But I am sure, I came from this book you left open when you went to sleep. I was wondering when you would wake up so I can ask about this place and you to get along well. Also, you can call me Wooyoung or Mr. Holmes. Sir sounds so formal. After all, you are the one who brought me here to this new world.” He smiled at me.
“That’s my pleasure, Wooyoung. Also, you can call me Jungkook or Kookie.” I replied.
“Ugh..... Kookie.... Shut up and sleep. Who the hell are you talking to? I am trying to get some beauty sleep here.” Shouted my aunt from her room, which is next to mine.
“Nothing, aunt...” I replied when suddenly Wooyoung shushed me.
“Who’s it? Is it Irene? Irene Alder...” He spoke in a low voice.
“Oh come on dude, It’s not your villain, it’s my aunt, May,” I said.
“Aunt May? Whatever... And who’s dude? Why are you calling me dude? Do I look like him?” He asked, which made me laugh.
“Oh no, it’s not anyone’s name. It’s a term we use in this present world to address our companions or friends.” I replied with a yawn, “Okay, good night Mr.Holmes. It was nice meeting you.” I said falling onto my bed, sleeping.
