Summary

My name is Cindy. I am 18 years old. I am shy, but I will argue back. I will stand up for myself sometimes. I am a skater and have several Madles. I have two brothers. Older than me. Kyle is 23 years old; he treats me good. Then there is Joey. He is 24 and mean as a snake. He blames me for mom dying. It was not my fault. She died in childbirth. Kyle will hit me when he knows he will get away with it. He hates me. He will come home drunk and then take things out on me. Dad is moving us to Florida. He is going to be the VP of the Skull MC. I don't want to move; however, I don't have a say in it. Kyle is happy about it. His girlfriend is in the clubhouse. I went there with dad to talk to the president. While I waited for dad to finish, I waited outside where I was writing in my notebook. I didn't notice the two men leaning on the garage with their arms folded watching me. If I had known, they were watching me I would have sat in the car. "Mike, one day I will claim that girl." Why the hell would you want to claim a girl that is what, 6 years younger than you are? And she is not even Valkyrie material. She may be young and shy, but the girls can increase her self-esteem.

Chapter 1: The Protection of Cindy.

I was not happy that my father was leaving Sidney, Ohio and moving to Greenville, Ohio. I just graduated from high school. When I got home, he told me he was going to be the VP of "Skull" MC. He told me to take the boxes in the corner up to my bedroom and start packing. I grabbed the boxes and carried them up to my bedroom.

Just as I reached the top of the stairs Joey walked out of his room glaring at me. He walked over and punched me in the ribs. "We would not be moving if you had not killed mom being born. You should have died instead of her."

I walked past him holding onto my ribs with tears flowing down my eyes."

When I entered my bedroom, I packed my things and then walked into the bathroom where I bandaged my ribs. Dad, and Ryan doesn't know that whenever Joey gets the chance, he hurts me.

Joey makes sure never to leave bruises where they can be seen. He knows what Dad and Ryan will do to him if they see them. I can't tell anyone what my brother does to me.

I looked over and saw my skates hanging on the back of the door. Once of these days I will cut him and make him hurt just like he hurts me.

I sighed and walked over lifting them from the door and put them in a box. Let's get real. I am too scared to retaliate against Joey. I pushed the boxes against the wall and lay down on my bed.

I grabbed another pillow and held it against my ribs crying. One of these days he will do worse to me. He will put me in the hospital. I am getting to where I don't want to live here anymore. I want to live with my aunt, Raven.

Aunt Raven is a fighter. She is strong. She would beat his ass if he tried this shit with her. Aunt Raven doesn't have any children. She and uncle Psycho have not been lucky enough to be parents. They would make great parents.

I heard dad walking up the stairs and I got out of bed and washed my face. Ryan and dad walked in with some bikers I had never seen. I watched them dismantle my bed and start carrying it downstairs.

I just walked in the door behind my new VP and watched as the girl backed away from a brother against the wall holding her ribs. I frowned. Was my new VP hitting his daughter?

I can't have that. We do not believe in hitting girls or women. I saw the fear in her eyes as she looked at my enforcer, Steve. Granted, Steve is a big man, but he would never harm a girl or woman.

Soon her bedroom was completely cleaned out and everything was loaded into the moving van. As I walked out the door dad walked over to me.

You will ride in the truck with Steve. He is the enforcer. I didn't say a word but opened the door and started to climb in. I felt hands go around my ribs and I winced. I bit my Toung from crying out.

I didn't notice Steve watching me or that he knew I had hurt my ribs. I didn't see the sudden anger in his eyes. I sat down and Ryan shut the door. I put my seat belt on again wincing as it rubbed against the ribs that Joey had hit.

"I didn't know that he had broken one and cracked two this time."

I was sweating from the pain. We arrived at the house, and I gingerly climbed down from the truck. They unloaded my bedroom first and carried everything into the house and up the stairs.

I looked over at Storm told him to wait. "What is it, Steven?"

"Someone has hurt that girl. I think she might have broken ribs."

"I know. I saw the fear in her eyes when you got to close to her. I will talk to Thunder and find out who is abusing her."

"Storm, I think it is her brother Joey. Every time he looks at her, he has such anger towards her."

"I will check into it. Let's finish putting her things in her new room."

"I followed Ryan and dad to the bedroom. I didn't say anything. Once inside I smiled."

"Do you like the bedroom Cindy, they asked me."

I looked around and nodded my head. I was afraid if I talked, I would start crying. It was a very beautiful bedroom. I walked over and looked at the bedroom door. I sighed in relief. There was a deadbolt on the door.

Thank God, I thought to myself. Joey can't just walk in anymore. Now I can keep him locked out. But it doesn't protect me outside or in other parts of the house. I thought to myself. Why do I stay here with them? I can get my own apartment.

I watched as they all left the room after one of the men told dad he had the last box. I shut and locked the door after they all walked out. I started to put things away and I over did it. After an hour I was in so much pain I started crying.

I put the last box against the wall, grabbed underwear, shorts, and a tee-shirt before walking into the bathroom. I drew a bath of water and sat down in the tub slowly.

I looked down at the bruise it was really big this time. I socked in the tub and when the water grew cold, I stood up wincing and got out. I rewrapped the bandage so that I could breathe easier.

I then walked over and looked out of the curtains. I hurt really bad. I turned and walked over to the bed and lay down on it closing my eyes.

I don't know when I fell asleep. I didn't know that dad was sitting in Storm's office. I was looking at Storm. "What the hell is going on Storm? Why are you looking at me the way you are?"

"Who is hurting your daughter. Rock?"

"I don't know what the hell you are talking about, Storm."

"Tell him Steve."

"She was wincing and holding onto her ribs."

"You are lying. There is nothing wrong with my daughter. Let's go, I will show you."

We followed him out of the office, down the hallway and next door to the house. As I walked up the stairs and to her door, I knocked on it.

"Cindy, open the door. I need to talk to you."

"Dad, it is late what do you want? I asked. Then I noticed the president Storm, and his enforcer Steve, standing outside my bedroom door. "What is going here and why are the two of you standing there?"

"Just open the door, Cindy." I opened the door and they all three walked inside. Then I saw Ryan walk through my door and stand against the wall.

"Cindy, you tell Storm and Steve we are not hurting you."

I looked down at the floor. "Cindy, tell them."

"I can't do that dad."

"What are you saying, Cindy. We would never hurt you and you know that."

"You and Ryan might never hurt me. But Joey does."

"Cindy your brother would never hurt you."

"Lift your shirt, Cindy. Show them. Show them what your brother does to you every chance he gets when he knows they are not around."

"No, I can't do that. He will do worse to me. A lot worse."

"Cindy lift your shirt or I will remove it, dad told me."

"I lifted my shirt and when Ryan saw the bruises and my wrapped ribs he growled. "I am going to kill him. How could he hurt his own sister? How could he punch her and break her ribs?"

Just then we heard Joey's bike in the driveway. I ran after Ryan followed by dad, Storm, and Steve down the stairs and out the door. I screamed as Ryan threw Joey across the yard and started kicking and hitting him.

"Stop, Ryan, you will kill him."

"You worry about me killing him when has been beating you and leaving bruises on you. He deserves what I do to him. You are our sister; you are not a punching bag. He is supposed to protect you, but he is the one hurting you."

"She should have died, Ryan not mom. She killed our mother."

"She did not kill our mother. She was an infant. Mom knew what would happen and she told the doctors to save her child. She would have done the same thing if it was you, she was giving birth do."

"Mom had cancer when she gave birth to Cindy. Mom was dying anyway. She gave her life to save our sister so she could be born. Dad always wanted a daughter and mom gave him one. And you think I will let you get away with beating on her? Not on your life you son of a bitch."

"So, help me god if you ever hit her again, I will beat you so bad you end up in the hospital and you will be made to leave and never come back here."

Storms members were watching everything from across the street. He looked over at Ryan and told him to take me to see their doctor. Ryan walked over and lifted me in his arms. He carried me across the street pass Storms members into the clubhouse.

After the doctor examined me, he re-wrapped my rips and they felt better. I could breathe without it hurting so bad. He gave me a shot for the pain, and I fell asleep.

I walked out of the room after she fell asleep. I was angry. Someone had been hurting her for years. It has to stop or the next time she is hit like this she could die.

I walked to the VIP table and looked at Storm. "Whoever is hurting her is going to kill her if he doesn't stop. She has been being beaten for years. One more punch like this one and she will die. If that rib is broken it will go into her lung."

"If I could get my hands on that son of a bitch, I would kill him myself. She has been taking some pretty hard hits. And how she has been walking around afterwards I will never know. She has been in pain for a long time."

"Is she going to be alright her dad asked?"

"As long as she doesn't take anymore punches like this last one, she will be."

"Thank you, doctor. Rock told him."

"Rock, I think it would be best that Joey moves into the clubhouse. That way we and the members can keep an eye on him and keep him away from Cindy."

"I will make sure and put him under Psycho and he can work in the garage. If Joey tries to hurt Cindy again, he will make Joey wish, he had never touched her."

"I think that would be for the best. If Joey stayed in the house, Ryan might not be so forgiving, and I fear now for Cindy's safety. Storm, when Cindy is hurting or upset, she skates alone. I need her watched when she is in the rink. Joey might be able to sneak away and get inside to hurt her."

"No problem, I will have my sister and a few of the men watch over her. I will ask for volunteers. They will become her bodyguards."

I stood up and yelled. Church in five minutes. Rock and Steve followed Storm down the hallway to meeting room. Several members were wanting to hurt the new VP's son, Joey more than what his brother did to him.

As the members sat down, I looked at them. You all saw what our new VP's son, Ryan did to his brother Joey. You watched as Ryan carried Cindy his daughter inside this club. The doctor said she can die if she takes another beating like the one her brother has been giving her.

I am asking for two volunteers to guard her during the day. I will get my sister, Tara and her friend, Donna to guard her at night. I saw almost every single man's handheld up.

"Renegade, you are really good and used be a bodyguard for some of the most famous singers. I will take you, and Cherokee as her bodyguards. If her brother goes anywhere near her, you make him understand he will never touch her again."

Psycho, Joey will be living in the club. I am putting you in charge of him, and he will work with you in the garage. Church is now dismissed.
