Prologue
On some days I wish we never met, on some days I wish he never left. Our paths were never meant to cross because I was his Yin and he was my Yang, but then again for the brief time we were together. I realized there was more to life than promenades with fine gentlemen and gowns from Monique's. Our love was not written in the stars nor was it set in stone, but it was there. It burnt like a flame and we were consumed with it. Our love was strong but the trials set by fate was stronger. In the end it was all just a gamble a gamble with fate in which we were all bound to lose.
