"I cried, and cried more with the emotions this story has generated. I also laughed and then cried again. The characters are fleshed out and real, as is the imagery. I can truly feel the bitter cold, not only on the lake but in the heart. All too often we glance over the hard topics and settle for fluff, this story is not one of them. It is an incredible read, and I find myself reaching out to friends to check on their well-being."

"I am liking the story, the plot, the characters and the writing style. It is so sad to see a husband treat his wife like he does. To not talk to his wife but just file for divorce and refuse to talk to her or to admit his new born baby daughter is his. What a sorry ass of a husband. He does not deserve them. I hope he some day realizes what a fool he is and it is too late for him to make amends. Great writing author. "
