A collection of original poems; old and new. Some were written years ago; some more recent but they all reflect life, my outside surroundings, personal things I’ve struggled with and everything in between. I hope to provide entertainment, something to relate to, and so much more!

Trapped

Have you ever been trapped in yourself and wanted to scream?

But the sound always got stuck; Like in a dream?

Your life was over... Or so it seemed.

You found the light and changed the scene.

Then everything was smooth, like whipped cream…

Until you found out it was all a scheme.

A faint shimmer of hope that had a little gleam.

But atleast you got to live a little.

Played with race cars and had your little peanut brittle.

But now the thrill is over and its work to be done.

Atleast in prison they allow time to have fun.
