Original and Illuminating
"At first, I was a little confused. I wasn't sure where this was going. It's written like a blog, so you are only offered an insight into the main character, who is pretty unreliable. I thought it was going to be just another pulp-fiction, sex journal exploring the cliched, seedier side of Bangkok. However, stick with it, it is immensely rewarding and offers a perspective on life that few authors dare to explore. It's authentic, funny and moving - and this guy writes about sex in a really original way. It's funny, awkward, messy and uncomfortable - but at the same time he captures the tenderness and the charm. This is a rich story that offers a real window into many contemporary dilemmas. I highly recommend this book."
