Nova: bunny by day hybrid by night

In the soft glow of the sun, Nova lived a lived of constant shifting. By day he’s a bunny with vanilla fur, ocean-blue eyes. But when the sun dipped below the horizon, he became something - a hybrid between a bunny and a human, caught between the world of men and the world of beasts.

The Change had an accident of birth. Nova had decided long ago that purely animal was not for him; he craved something more, something deeper. To find it, he hooped off to speak with Patricia, a witch who lives a cottage in the woods.

Nova had come to her with a single request: to become human.

Patricia, true to her words hadn't hesitated. With a steady of a master, she gathered her ingredients, her eyes glowing with the focus of her craft. Nova watched as the mixture bubbled in the pot. Once the concoction was ready, she poured the swirling liquid into a glass bottle, sealing the Sharpe thwack of a cork.

Paticia making sure the potion was bunny-safe, scribbling the note right on the glass. She handed the bottle to Nova, who pulled the cork and drank the concoction in heavy gulp. The transformation was instant, but the results weren't exactly what he hoped for.

Nova felt his stretch and solidify - smooth human skin covering his frame. A soft mane of Vanilla Blonde hair sprouted from his scalp, glowing with the pale of his spirit.

The magic lengthened his limbs, shifting small paws into delicate human hand and feet. His jaw softened and tapered as his small bunny muzzle vanished, his nose cooling into a straight human bridge. His teeth clicked into place, shifting from tiny nibbles to a straight human row, while his tongue softened and became human.

His shifted through new human eyes of piercing Ocean Blue eye, framed by a soft forehead and human ears. expanded rising into a slender neck, and narrow shoulders. From there, the magic surged downward, stretching into graceful hips that led straight into a lithe, elegant back expanding into upper arms, elbows and forearm, ending in small, delicate hands and nimble fingers. Down below the magic shaped a slender nimble waist, firm butt, slender thighs, knee, and legs, along with private parts, ankles - finishing with human feet and toes.

But the magic carried had two fatal flaws. First: Nova still had his long, velvet bunny ears and a soft, white cotton tail-reminders of the beast he used to be. Second: he was completely bare naked, standing exposed in the cottage.

Patrica, being the darling she was, didn't leave him that way.

With a flick of her wrist, she conjured up a set of garments- the Pure Light set. Nova quickly puts on the white tank top and the cream-colored shorts tailored for slender, nimble legs. He slipped on a delicate leg garter over his thigh. He fastened calf-high boots, soft soled, and finally donned the shimmering gold mini jacket with its high soft collar. Now fully dressed and armored in light, he was no longer a bunny- he was a traveler.

Now fully dressed and slightly agitated, he said, 'I was supposed to be human, not half -bunny, half -human.'

Patricia simply shrugged, "Well, there's nothing more I can do for you."

With those words echoing through the room, Nova walked out the door in a fury. He kept moving, putting distance between himself and that place, walking further and further away until the fire in his chest finally began to chill out. He slowed his pace, his soft- soled boots coming a stop as he reached up. His fingers traveled from the top of his head to the base of his spine, touching the long bunny ears and the soft cotton tail that remained. He looked down at his clothes-the white tank top, the cream shorts with the leg garter, and the shimming gold of his Pure Light set-realizing that even if the magic was incomplete, at least he's not out in the bare.

He finally accepted his destiny for what it was: A bunny-human hybrid. Not only that, but he felt truly alone. He has no soulmate to share himself with-no one to make love with; emotional or physical, or to anchor his new heart.

But his reality was about to change. Someone out there, someone else was enduring the same isolation, and their routes were finally beginning to converge.
