Behind The Blank Page

Hi everyone, So today, you all know that this is my first day of high school at West Cheshire Prep. This school is so hard to get into because you have to be the best in all your classes to get here. Sorry, where are my manners? I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Jasper Grayson. I am 15 years old. My life is pretty plain. I live in a town where nothing exciting happens. Some days I wish I could find more to the town than what’s on the page you know?

“Time for school brat” Mrs. Grayson hollers from down the stairs. “coming!”. Sometimes my mom can be a little mean, Okay more than a little. As I head down the stairs my mom catches me at the bottom, “You almost missed the school bus brat now go!” she hollers. I grab my bag and rush out the door. On the bus I sit beside my best friend Alexis Valentine, we have been best friends since we were 6 years old. “I’m wondering what the first day is gonna be like,” Alexis says staring out the window. “I don’t know but I bet it’s gonna be great cause were together” I state with a smile.

When we walk through the school doors, we are so excited. “we’re here!” she shrieks. “I know!” I scream. We grab our papers and start looking for our lockers, and not a shocker, our lockers are right next to each other. We go to our first class of the day, have English 1 and Alexis has Algebra 1A. I sit at a desk beside this guy, he’s tall, has brown wavy hair and green eyes, I smile at him and put my bag down. He looks at me and smiles.
