What is your opinion?

One of Dot's Best

"I've read a lot of this author's work. She is a talented author and quite prolific. This effort is easily the best of her current work. I found myself close to tears on more than one occasion. The introduction of Lisa near the end was an interesting twist. The plot line covers the gambit of positive and negative reactions to Gabi's transition. It's a fine line to balance on and Dorthy has done it to perfection Bravo!."

Rock Star Makeover

"It feels like I started by going in the front of the house and as the story line continued, I felt lead around a maze, but not realizing that as well as a maze, but also the place and size is shrinking until near at the end of the story, that I had to crawl in quite a confine space, before i heard something slam shut in the back and I said "Great, I have just been Sucker punched by Dorothy AGAIN and I didn't even felt it! OH, She's gotten good at that I'll say". That is just before she sent me to orbit, in the super sized cannon that she so, just SO sneakily made me go in voluntary without forcing me at all! You can all say that I am the "NEW, ORGANIC VERSION OF THE OLD USSR's SPUTNIK, orbiting earth after all the years reading her stories on Bigclosetr.us, is just her way of EVIL SNEAKINESS, Face Palm Moment!!!!! OH WELL, I will just be up here in orbit, bleeping away until I re-enter the atmosphere and burn up or she will send a companion up here, like she did to me!!!!!!"

Great

"This was a great story. While I can't offer criticism on grammar/etc as I'm terrible at that I felt the story flowed nicely and nothing was jarring to me while reading to pull me out of the story. The subject matter was treated well and the moments that were emotionally charged felt exactly as I think most high schoolers feel, the kids acted age appropriate. (Some times I feel that younger kids are portrayed as way beyond their emotional development level and here I'm glad it felt very real.)"

Tenderhearted

"The process of discovery of self is just like life; tentative with a few faltering steps but made all the more tender by the honesty of the portrayal. Great story!"

"Rock Star" rocks!

"/Spoilers/ Noah’s for-half-a-life-time best friend, Gavin, says he’s entering a contest sponsored by Gavin’s favorite rock star. School starts going weird when Gavin’s contest entry video is leaked. In his entry, it’s clear Gavin wants … no, already is, a girl. Of course Noah has to do quite a bit of adjusting. Then who left the “I’m like you” note in Gabbi’s locker? Noah and Gabbi try to very carefully coax “inthecloset" to come out. Meanwhile, Noah’s brother Adam starts up with his special lady. Very short lived, when she proves herself not special, but a loser bigot. When “inthecloset" finally comes for a visit … Let’s just say Cupid was busy. --- I just really liked the support given to everyone involved got, and the near-absence of verbal/physical hostilities. And that not just one, but two boys “got their girls”."
