The Birth of a new Star
The date is November 12th and a Belgian racing family are awaiting the birth of their 3rd child, and later that day a star was born.
Arthur Goossens was born in Turnhout, Belgium into a relatively successful racing family with his father Noah Goossens, who raced in Indycar, who was relatively successful, winning 4 Indycar races, and his mother, Olivia Goossens, who was a very successful jockey, winning 4 Breeders Cup World Championships and 20 races which is 2nd all-time only behind Mike Smith.
For the first few years of Arthur's life, he went to Indycar races all across America to watch his father race, and it's fair to say that he got 'bitten by the racing bug', after watching his father race for a few years he demanded to his parents to let him start doing kart racing, and after some back and forth arguing, Noah and Olivia decided to let young Arthur start racing in karts.
