The Letter
On the evening of 16 April 1968, a girl named Linda was killed by someone unknown. the officers who went there to investigate the case were also found dead and Linda’s body vanished. After a month, all the members of her family died somehow a small girl was left behind, all the dead bodies vanished too. the officers didn’t have any clues about the culprit so they had to close the case. later a couple adopted the little girl.

Ethan – Hey, wake up, we are already late for school.
Rin – ugh bro, coming.

Ethan – ready to go? we are already half an hour late.
Rin – yeah I know, you don’t have to tell me everything.
Ethan – huh, whatever. let’s get going.
**** AT SCHOOL****
Ethan – hey bro, today we’re in different classes, mine will start any moment from now, see ya after school today.
Rin – okay, I should get to my class too, see ya.
**** IN CLASS ****
Miss. Fox [TEACHER] – Good morning students today we are going to discuss chapter 7 but before that, we have a new student in our class, this is Alora hales she will be studying with us for the session, Alora now you can go sit. Class open page no. 243 of your book.
Alora – hey can I sit with you, all other seats are taken.
Rin – Sure.
Alora – I’m Alora Hales, you?
Rin – Rin Davis, anyway why are you studying criminology?
Alora – I’m just interested in studying about criminals.
Rin – oh great.
**** AFTER CLASS ****
Alora – it was a nice meeting you, Rin
Rin – yeah, see you tomorrow, I guess.

Ethan – Hey bro, who’s that new girl?
Rin – she’s a new student in criminology class, there were no other seats empty so she sat with me.
Ethan –oh okay, btw I am going to stay with Alex for some work tonight so don’t wait for me while going home.
Rin – That’s fine with me.
**** AFTER SCHOOL ****
Rin – so I have to go home alone today, oh god that will be so boring but anyway I can’t do anything so, let’s go.
A while later...
Rin : Why do I feel like someone is following me, I know it’s my imagination but... I have so much work to do so should get home as soon as can.
**** AT HOME ****
Rin – I’m exhausted, let’s complete the work so I can sleep peacefully... what the- why did the lights ran out? why in the hell are all the strange things happening today? ugh, let’s fix the lights or i don’t have any other option.
Ring-ring [doorbell]
Rin : who’s here at this moment now... COMING, JUST GIVE ME A SEC.
Rin – who’s this? can you please tell me your name?
Stranger – Sir I have your parcel.
Rin – my parcel? I didn’t order anything... can you please tell me the name on the parcel?
Stranger – yeah sure sir, um- it has the name of Mr. rin Davis.
Rin – that’s my name... strange. maybe Ethan ordered something with my name. please give me a minute.
Rin [ On a call with Ethan ] – hey Ethan did you buy something this week online?
Ethan – nope, why did you ask?
Rin – there’s a guy on the door and says that he have a parcel of my name.
Ethan - why would I order something with your name?
Rin – yeah, I have to deal with tha
t guy first, talk to ya later.
**** WITH THE DELIVERY GUY ****
Rin – please give me the parcel.
Stranger – yeah, take it, sir.
************Rin - let’s check, what’s inside... it’s a teddy but why in the hell is it painted in blood and what’s this now, a letter. What’s going on today?
**** Reading the letter ****
Hey, you must have opened the gift I sent for you, don’t be scared im not going to do anything to you. As you must know the case happened on 16th April 1968, a girl named Linda was killed. Your father tried reopening the case and now all want is to get that case closed and only you can confess your father to close the case. So please do it or anything can happen.

Rin: What the hell is this? Maybe someone send this to scare me but the case of Linda’s murder was a secret. How could anyone know about the case outside in FBI office? I should talk about this to father, maybe he knows what’s going on. I have a day off tomorrow, I can go to meet him in person.

Rin: hey dad, are you free today by any chance?
Dad: I will have check my schedule. Anyway why do you ask?
Rin: actually I have something important to talk about?
Dad: we can talk about it on the phone kid? Tell me what’s the matter?
Rin: I think it would be better if we talk about this in person. Also we haven’t met in a while.
Dad: Meet me at the hill side café at 2 o clock and better don’t be late. Also don’t tell anyone about our meeting.
Rin: Okay.
