Prologue

If I knew even a fraction of what my life would have ended up like once I agreed to that stupid dare, I wouldn't have taken it. He was far from being Mr right. He was actually the exact opposite. He was a literal nightmare in an 18 year olds form.

Those devilish green eyes watched me as I sat across from him at the party. I tried to ignore it but the unbearable uncomfortableness that I got under his gaze is what kept that from happening. He proved to be just like the others, the very first day we met. Only five minutes into first period.

His good looks and athletic skills were really the only thing that he had going for himself. His personality alone was enough to make any and all women be weary of him but yet, he has half the senior girls drooling at his feet. Praying for even a second glance. He was cute, I'll give him that but he was also arrogant, rude, obnoxious, the literal definition of a Jack ass.

Our eyes stayed glued to one another during the whole party. We were in a game of " don't blink" and I was determined to win. He wanted to intimidate me. Make me feel like I was weaker than him. Little did he know I grew up with an older brother. I played this intimidation game a million times over, it never ends in their favor.

With all that said, I took the dare. A dare that went south quickly. A dare that cost me my heart. The problem with bad boys?

It's hard to resist them. Even for me.
