Chapter 1
I got married after all my sisters had settled. According to society, it was pretty late, not that I did not want to get married, however, there was no one wanting a 32-year-old woman with gorgeous long thick hair, hardly intermediate pass with a beautiful smile. I was happy with my family; doing all the household chores and caring for my nieces and nephews.
Then came a man; tall, dark, and handsome who accepted me with all his heart. However, he was a bit strict but had fantastic dance moves. We were then blessed with a child followed by another one.
On 10th May 1998, it felt as if our little world was complete and a few days later my better half left the world due to a heart attack. ’Smoking kills as they say. The saying went as per the norm and there I was with two infants and no idea as to what will happen. I thought the journey ended, however, I now realize the journey actually just started. ‘Stay Stong. You got this’ was leading me every day.
