Rain

He rode in and out of traffic in a bid to make it to the clubhouse before the rain. Motorcycles and rain don’t mix that’s why he checks the forecast every morning. But today was a freak shower that he swore was following him so he was speeding back. About ten minutes from the clubhouse he saw a familiar car broken down on the side of the road.

“Hey, Madison what happened?”

Madison was Bouncer’s old lady before he passed away two years ago. Because she is family they still help her out from time to time.

“I was heading in to help Stacy get everything ready for the cookout tomorrow and it broke down on me.”

Bruiser nodded.

“Hey get on and I will take you to the clubhouse then I will get one of the prospects to get a wrecker from Little Mac’s and we will get your car towed over there. Cool?”

Madison nodded, secured the helmet that he gave her, and hopped on the back of his bike. They started off and Bruiser got the weirdest feeling. He actually liked Madison’s arms around him, he liked feeling her pressed close to his back.

They arrived at the Saints clubhouse and as soon as they got inside Bruiser went to find a prospect to get Madison’s car and Madison went to go find Stacy.

“Hey, Stacy what can I help you with?”

Stacy turned and smiled at Madison then held out her arms.

“Madison we miss you, why don’t you come around the clubhouse anymore?”

Madison stepped into the hug, she missed Stacy and the rest of the Old Ladies, they were her family, her sisters.

“Well you know since Bouncer died, I haven’t really felt like I could come here without him.”

Stacy nodded her understanding.

“Well don’t feel like that you’re always welcome.”

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

Bargara4670: This was a refreshingly different love story. Both Hadleigh and Grant were strong and likeable characters. It was satisfying to see their relationship develop. I wonder if this story will be the first in a series. I would be interested to find out if Marina is bonded.
