Chapter 1

Queen Delaney, King Flynn, Prince Larson, and Princess Ashley were all scared of being captured. What they had seen that morning had rattled them all…

That morning, they were sitting at their dining table, when the newspaper got delivered to Queen Delaney. Prince Larson disliked the newspaper, as the people who made it had to cut down lots of trees.

Queen Delaney read the front page in her head and gasped.

“WHAT!!” yelled King Flynn from the other end of the table. He had to yell, as the table was very long.

“Read it” she yelled in reply, chucking the newspaper down to King Flynn. The throw was impressive, but as King Flynn dived across the table to get it, he fell into Prince Larson’s bowl of Cornflakes.

King Flynn cleaned himself up, and then began to read to his children:

Noah and his gang Georgia, Terrance, and Dustin - are on the loose. There is a minimum reward of 1,000,000 for their capture.

He stopped there, not just because he was terrified, but also because he didn’t need to read about half-price specials on all sheets. He turned to his family, and they saw King Flynn’s big bulging eyes. Except for Princess Ashley, who had fainted in terror.

That was this morning, thought a very worried Prince Larson, They won’t be coming for us… will they? He was about to find out soon enough. Ms Karearea called everyone down to the mat for the story. That was the signal for the cameras to activate.

In the thieves’ lair, the live cameras were projecting onto a big projector. 10 minutes later, they were satisfied with what they saw and went to rob a bank.

Back in the class, a boy called Harvey, Tech Wizard, saw a camera, and hacked into its system. He saw the plans and called the army. Soon after the army arrived, the criminals burst in through the window. Fortunately, the army was expecting that. Any criminal would not go to the office, get a visitor’s pass, and walk quietly and respectfully to the class.

Noah was the first one through the window. He saw the army

“Retreat!” he wailed, just as he got squished by Georgia’s big bum.

They ran away, being chased by half the army.

Meanwhile, the royal family left school and took Harvey to their local dessert shop to reward him. (Escorted by the other half of the army as well as the usual bodyguards)

The next day, Room Karearea was going on a trip to Brisbane for a class holiday. They had to pay for 23 students and a teacher. They had a class discount.

“This is so exciting,” screamed Princess Ashley.

“I know!” Prince Larson yelled in reply.

“Shhhhh,” shushed Ms Karearea, a bit too loudly, as all the heads in the airport turned to face her.

After about half an hour, they boarded their flight.

As a stroke of luck for the criminals, they were in the same airport and were still being chased by the army. (They should compete in the Olympics if they can run that far)

They got chased into the plane and the army didn’t follow them. They took the seats behind the royal family and gaped in surprise as they realized their luck. They listened to the conversation that King Flynn and Queen Delaney were having. Then one of them did something sneaky and then jumped out of the plane.

Once they got off the plane, they went to a dark gloomy place that resembled a funeral ground. Then to the rest of the class’s amazement, King Flynn announced they were getting divorced. Prince Larson turned to comfort Princess Ashley, but she was not there.

Queen Delaney wanted to rush through the vows and paperwork, but King Flynn wasn’t having it. So Tommy and Harry rushed off to the Island of Unknown in a boat to do Queen Delaney’s work.

As Tommy said afterwards, “It’s the perfect place to hide.” He was right, because of what happened next. Dustin had stolen the Princess and was quite surprised when Tommy and Harry’s boat docked on the island side.

Once Tommy had left the boat, Dustin crept on, and ran right into Harry. Harry grabbed Dustin and put him in chains. He demanded to know where Princess Ashley was. Tommy was looking in the trees, but Princess Ashley was hidden inside the mega camouflage safe. Harry slammed into the safe, announced “Here it is!” and then picked its lock.

Harry freed Princess Ashley, and they walked back hand in hand. Harry then kicked Dustin, then pushed him to his knees. Dustin then started begging for forgiveness. Princess Ashley was disgusted and turned him over to the local police.

When Harry and Tommy returned to Brisbane with Princess Ashley, Ex-King Flynn showed an obvious display of hatred. Then he booked a plane to France. When he arrived in France ten days later, he immediately got kidnapped.

When Princess Ashley checked the newspaper the next morning, she saw something very suspicious.

Is the crime boss good?

This morning, Noah claimed that he had been under hypnosis.

A teacher from the school holding the Royal family, Mrs Mokomoko, stood for Noah, as she was a former victim of hypnosis, and so he is now in her class.

That is all that was in the article. But despite the news, Princess Ashley was very happy. It was her wedding day. She was getting married to her saviour, Harry. She had loved him for ages, but what had happened the day before had rapidly increased her love for him.

If you want to know how Harry felt, he fainted when he saw Princess Ashley wearing her wedding dress. He was in love! He needed to be held up by his friend Tommy.

But first, it was time for Queen Delaney’s marriage. She was getting married to the man of her dreams, Hamish.

“He is so perfect, any goddess would fall in love with him,” Queen Delaney said. Sure enough, one did twenty years later. But that’s another story. When they were happily wed, they sat down in the wedding crowd, and Princess Ashley and Harry came up.

Harry had to have someone hold him steady, so he did not faint again. She was his perfect woman. Once they were married, they did not stop kissing until Harry had to drive the class back to the hotel.

When they got there, Harry started sacrificing food for the gods. This got the attention of a certain greek goddess of love. Aphrodite wondered who fell in love with him. Ten days later, after watching a happy couple Princess Ashley and Harry, she decided to come to visit them.

Harry saw Aphrodite’s mortal disguise and fell to his knees. He motioned for his wife to do the same.

“Oh Aphrodite,” he called out, “for that must be who you are, why, beautiful goddess, are you here?”

“You have always been faithful to me,” boomed the goddess’ voice in reply, “and so I have decided to grant you a happy marriage.”

“Why are you in my house!” yelled Princess Ashley.

“Honey, she’s a goddess. She has every right to be here,” said Harry.

“She must leave my house! NOW!”

“Silence mortals,” yelled Aphrodite, “if she does not believe, I’ll show her.”

Aphrodite shot a beam of white light toward Princess Ashley. The nearest guard jumped in front of her. He seemed to vanish when he was hit by the light. His armour clanked to the ground.

“Squark! Can someone remove this grey stuff?” asked a voice from inside the armour.

“Oh, Tommy! She turned you into a goose!” said Harry, in a pitiful tone.

Princess Ashley turned to Aphrodite, and said, “Can you turn him back?”

“It was your foolishness, and his faithfulness,” she then gestured to the armour on the floor, “that brought this. Thanks to Harry and the swan, you will still have a happy marriage, but you will never forget it. Goodbye.” Then Aphrodite vanished.

When Princess Ashley told Prince Larson what had happened with Aphrodite, Prince Larson pinned everything that had occurred on Harry.

“If he hadn’t been associated with those blasted gods, that would have never happened,” he said. To get back at Harry, Prince Larson married a witch. That was a mistake, as his family didn’t visit him.
