Summary

They took my soul, my family and my place in this world. Branded a Soulless, I live dreading my eventual demise as Frallation takes over. No cute animal acting as my Affinity, and no magic coursing through me. With Soulless going missing in the city of Arcardia, my future doesn't seem bright. But what if you could change that? What if there was a camera that could transport you into the minds of troubled individuals, strengthening your connection with them as they help you as much as you help them? Maybe I can gain my own Affinity and live past my teenage years. The only thing to stop me is the enigmatic Soul Snatcher.

Prologue

???

With the clang of the weapon hitting my sword, I staggered back and knelled. My body was weak and bruised. I struggled to breathe, let alone speak. The anger in my heart; the disappointment and denial after the realisation. I couldn’t go any further. Was this truly how it was going to end?

“Why?” I said, leaning on my sword that was firmly stabbed into the ground. “Why did it have to be you?”

The weapon lowered, pointing at my face. I raised slightly, refraining from looking into those eyes.

“This is… how it was meant… to be.”

That voice horrified me.

“No,” I said, pushing my sword to stand. “Y-you’re lying!”

With the weapon following me as I stood, I gripped my sword with both hands and readied into a battle stance. Hesitation salted my eyes, but determination quickly enveloped me.

“I-I will make this right,” I said.

Lowering my sword and stepping forward, I shot myself into the air, stretching my torso as I swung my sword back. Landing the blow with a warcry, the clash echoed within the dark abyss.

“This is it. This is the end of you and me.”

His Forsaken Fate

Bargara4670: I have marked the ratings down because it was obviously originally written in a foreign language and translated into English. I hope that whoever edited the second half will go back and do the same to the first half. Having said that, this was a well-thought-out plot which kept me interested enough ...

Shawna: I really enjoying reading this book, I read it twice back to back just in case I missed something lol. Mira & Devryan are actually perfectly fit one another, even when they tried to deny it. You could tell that he wanted her, human or mystic, he was just scared to admit it to himself. She was scared...

Shriya: When I started, i thought the Alpha was a psycho, a control freak and could not understand why Kiera didn't get terrified of him. I wish the book was a bit longer to show her life in the pack but then I thought many of us are surrounded by strangers and we can be non inclusive without realising the ...

Rodela: I have been reading in Inkitt for quite some years now, but this is the 2nd time I am reading a story as well knitted as this one. The plot was as generic as possible, yet, it gave answers to many questions other werewolf stories couldn't. Most importantly, it made me realize what I want with my lif...
