the day i feared has come. the day you realized I realized that you would never see me the way i do you. it brings me great pain as i have known you for many a year and will love you for many years to come. I felt as though maybe i wasn’t enough, that i was too inadequate, too imperfect for you to love me. However i have come to realize that while you were the one for me, i was not the one for you. my dearest love, while i hope this letter may never find its way into your palms, mind, or heart i wish for you to know that no matter how greatly this pains me, that i will always love you. I will find happiness within your happiness. I wish you all the joy in the world, although it may not come from me.
