Katie Saves the Bake Sale
Once there was a girl named Katie who loved baking. Her favorite thing to make was cupcakes. She made all kinds of flavors, like chocolate, blueberry, and pumpkin, and one day she was in her kitchen with her dog Sprinkle trying to come up with a new flavor for the school bake sale, that had not been doing well these few years. Suddenly she had a great idea and she started mixing away. A few days later when the bake sale came, it was making money, but not a lot, as usual. Then Katie came in and set her tray down at her station, which was covered with a pink cloth. “What are these” said a customer, and Katie pulled the cloth off the tray to unveil her chocolate peanut butter cupcakes. The man picked a cupcake off the tray and tried it, “Wow these are delicious” he said, and before you know it, everyone in the cafeteria was at her station eating the cupcakes, and by the end of the night the money box was overflowing with money and Katie and her chocolate peanut butter cupcakes had saved the bake sale.
