Chapter 1
- On Are Our Way Down
“Journal entry number 1, hello my name is Charlee Denser and since I was a little girl I have always had a dream of going on adventures and exploring the unknown, now that I’m an adult I can follow the pursuit for my passion seeing what out here and how we don’t understand it. As the time of this massage I’m 32 years old, This is Charlee Denser signing off.”
I turned off the recorder and rested my arms on my head.
A man walked into my room, he had a very cyan suit on it was my partner Simon, Simon Lark. “Charlee?” Simon asked. “Are you ready to go?” He continued. I responded with “I’ve been ready since I was born.” Simon and I walked are way down and heald both are hands on the rails step by step to the stairs where, our third party member David Norton. “The ship will be here in approximately … Mrs. Denser! It’s so nice finally meet you” We shook hands. “I was reading a report about you, your commitment and dedication to this lifestyle, with sub diving, ocean rages and what below us” I responded. “An oceanographer studies the ocean after all.” I said with a smile.
“Now we just need to wait for our last “crew mate” and then we will be on our way” David said. “Wait a second! How many people are going on this?!?” I said with major confusion while still waiting for this so called “new submarine” and looking at my fellow crew mates. “Don’t worry Dr. Denser, your not the only oceanographer here you know.” David said with disappointment. “Dave don’t worry, this her first time in something major has compared to all of us.” Simon said to support me. “Look.” He continued. “Here is our final crewmate, Eve Sommers!” David said as there submarine craft rose from the water 2 feet away from us, we could see her face, black hair, brown eyes, black military clothing and all. As for the submarine itself, the only I can describe as, the size of a house, length of a school bus, a design like in in the 62 century, the advancement where incredible, blue / sliver colors and all. I knocked on the glass to see how hard it was and it felt like in had the strength on a thousand. I knew the moment it arrived, this would be an adventure I will never forget.
